Sorry for not getting back to this sooner… Yes, the Dogg is right, OL is Olympic Lifts. I suggested them because it sounded to me like you asked for compound exercises to facilitate mass gain - and I think OLs would work well for that purpose.
I don’t think that they would necessarily be interchangeable with any other “regular” lift, as they generally work far more than one body part at a time and involve far more in the way of explosive power and acceleration than the other stuff does. In other words, you get a different training effect - but one that would still contribute to your overall goal of building mass. So it would be more of an alternative cycle or complement to your other training.
To Mike M: There was a short article showing the Cuban Press not too long ago in T-Mag. Do a search and you should find it with no problem.
