Major BP Drop While Lifting

I had a scarry incident this morning. while starting TBT with low weight to get into the swing of things, I felt strangely weak, and about to pass out. I stuck my arm in the blood pressure machine, and it read 123/54! I was shocked, because I was breathing like I should while lifting, and I had a small meal about 2 hours before lifting. It is really strange, because my resting blood pressure is in the neighborhood of 135/75, just under the threshold of high blood pressure.

I re-checked my BP in 10 minutes, and it was 119/62. WTF is going on with me? I will schedule an appt with my doc later on, but this sudden drop in diastolic bp has me concerned. strangely, my pulse rate was right at 120 bpm, while having the low bp. My resting pulse is now around 90-95 bpm. Is this just me, or has this happened to anyone else? I think that I might stick with some light cardio for a week or so for this to dwindle. -The Starkdog

Ya definitely ease off, you may have been overtraining.
