LMAO! That’s damned good advice. And trust me, if I had some pussy to eat, I’d keep myself occupied every day!

Just a few questions about mid and post workout Surge drinks. I’ve always stayed away from drinking anything during my workouts other than water because I’m prone to fat gain and because I often do cardio afterwards (and I assume that fat burning would be hindered by having too many carbs in my system). However, in light of all the latest research I’ve been reading about, I’ve decided to give it a try during GS Stage 2 with Surge. I’m just curious whether the Surge intakes vary depending on bodyweight (I know the initial plan was 1/2 scoop during, 1/2 scoop after). Also, I know we’re not supposed to add anything other than creatine to the Surge, but should I still take my glutamine pre-workout? Lastly, I know that Surge is precisely formulated? Is there anything that suites it better to mid-workout than other drinks or just dextrose and carbs? Thanks.

Get that Mag-10 down you, hit the gym twice a day, and you’ll have all the pussy you’ve ever dreamed off.

One more thing, could someone tell me when Mag-10 will be release in the UK. I’m looking to use it around early Febuary.

All I can tell you is that I’ve dieted down a few times using Surge and I see no difference in fat loss. And I consider myself carb sensitive. (When dieting, I may take in 100g of carbs per day, and about 50 of those will come from Surge.) Basically, if you’re training hard, the carbs go to work for you and do not get stored as fat or cause fat storage. It’s much different than sitting down watching TV and eating a bagel. Now that will lead to fat storage! And if you do cardio too, you just have your Surge after cardio. Berardi has a very detailed article that may give you a more scientific answer to your question. It will be posted Friday.

And anyway, don’t worry about a little fat gain on this mass phase. This has lead many people to look the same year after year, regardless of what supplements they use. I’m not saying you’re doing this, but I’ve dealt with a lot of people who are scared of eating enough calories, scared to eat some carbs, and scared to give up cardio for a while. So they weigh 170 the rest of their lives and proclaim that “supplements don’t work”. Just a little mini-rant.

2) There are bodyweight guidelines on the Surge bottle. The average person would use a scoop during a workout and a scoop after, or two scoops after. Sorry, don’t have a bottle handy here to read the label and give exact numbers.

3) I never got anything out of supplementing with glutamine so I don’t use it. (I’m sure it does something, but there are other things to spend money on that definitely work.) I guess it wouldn’t hurt to use it before training.

Not sure I understand your last question. Do you mean is there something better than Surge for mid-workout? Well, if there were, Biotest would have put it in Surge. (And Surge is much more than dextrose and carbs.)

I suggest you read the “Solving the Post-workout Puzzle” articles in the previous issues of T-mag. Also checkout Berardi’s “Appetite for Contruction” articles. He provides more details there than I can here on the forum.

Thanks for the info. I checked out netrition’s recommendations, and they said 2 scoops for anyone 200 lbs. and under. It’s a little less than I’m used to taking in post-workout, but I’m sure the rest of my diet will more than make up for the discrepancy.

Ok, I’m on day 8 of Mag-10 and so far I’ve gone from 192 to 200.5, that’s 8.5 pounds and it isn’t fat! I had sky high hopes for Mag-10, but it is exceeding my expectations.

I've been getting at least 400 grams of protein per day (2g/lb) and have been shooting for a total of 5,000+ clean calories, but have been having a hard getting there. Any secrets for getting calories without feeling like your stomach is going to explode? How about an exercise to stretch your stomach?

Mag-10 results so far:

Age: 40 Height 5’8.5
Beginning Weight: 168 @ 11%BF (Fat TrackII Calipers and Impedance Scales).

11/30/01: 2 doses calories 5400 weight 169.2, 12/1/01: 2 doses calories 4230 weight 171.8, 12/2/01: 1 dose calories 3800 weight 172.6, 12/3/01: 1 dose calories 4758 weight 173.2. ,12/4/01: 1 dose calories 4628 weight 175.0.

Comments: -Have followed the massive eating protocol for meal combinations and protein intake (2 gms/lb of body weight). using MRP's and 2 real meals per day.

  • Lifting per growth surge II recommendations, but using 1 big, intense workout/day instead of 2.

  • Fat gain has been minimal or non-existant -still @ 11 -11.5%, although I feel a little bloated from the huge food intake - have MRP oozing out of my ears.

  • Pumps have been very good, strength gains good but not drastic. Workout endurance has been excellent - feels like I can lift all day.

  • no problem sleeping. no change in sex drive.

Questions for T-mag staff:

  • My lean mass gain so far has exceeded what could be explained by the calorie surplus injested. Would this be water gain or is there another explanation?

  • If I embark on a muscle preserving, fat loss program in a few weeks (175 lbs @ 8-9%BF is perfect for me) would you suggest mag-10 to protect lean mass or is that overkill and androsol would be advised - saving mag-10 for mass gain cycles?

  • Could you please have someone other than Sherwin-Williams do the flavoring for Mag-10? just kidding, the could be better taste is a small price to pay for the gains.

Mag-10 is an excellent product!!!

I started on the MAG 10 on monday 12/3, so I’m into my 3rd full day. My intensity and strength are up quite a bit already. The scale says I’m up 3 pounds, but still too early to tell. I’m using it with bob myhal’s ultimate muscle program and diet–I put on about 9 pounds of muscle with the program last spring so with MAG 10 I’m hoping for even better results! I have noticed a little problem sleeping, but I’m a light sleeper to begin with. Nothing major. No other side-effects so far.

2 x day + 1 x androsol for 3 days I got into heavy Insomnia and pounding heart (just wanted to see) scaled back to 1 x day + 1 androsol and no problems
No effect on sex ‘drive’ or interest, improved turbidity in erections, ‘almost’ viagra like.

Try a bit of 5-htp, valerian, G.A.B.A, inositol, niacinamide, Glyceine, Kava Kava, and taurine for sleep

I’m waiting to hear from someone who isnt gonna be using the tribex and M in between Mag10 cycles,… If the gains every 2 weeks on remain on the 4 off weeks between cycles (on a lower calorie intake I assume), I may do that simply due to the financial undertaking (gotta load up on MRP’s if I’m gonna do this right!)

brian, chris shugart said the taste will be improved in future batches. To work on the flavoring now would have delayed the release a couple of months

3rd day GS with 1 serving p/d Mag-10. Started at 5’9" 164.5 @ 7.8% am now at 171. I do heavy framing/construction work 5 days a week so my recommended Massive Eating calories are 6,400 (50/30/20) p/d I think I’ll explode. Noticed increased energy even with less sleep and 2 a days. No acne, sex drive changes or bigger pumps yet. I’ll keep ya posted. -LW

Mag-10 is the shit! I’ve gained 7 pounds of muscle in 6 days. I upper my calories by 1000 through MetRx bars, which I can buy with my student card at the University of Washinton. Squatted my first 300@164 a few days ago. Pulled an easy 5-pound PR for 415 three days ago. I’m powerlifting–Westside–and have taken advantage of the shortened recovery time by doing extra workouts. The first couple days, I was beat to hell. Then about the day before, my body went Yeeeeeeeeeee-haw! and I’ve been on overdrive ever since. Some sleep disturbance. Cutting down on coffee has helped, along with sleeping in a bit when I am able. Awesome stuff.

And by the way, I have been powerlifting for over three years and had gained FIVE GARGANTUAN POUNDS despite continued gains in strength. So, this 7 pounds may sound like only a little to some, but for me–shit, baby, sign me up for Mr. O.

what is the bob myhal’s ultimate muscle program and diet–

Hey T-men,
Congrats to all you guys putting on slabs of muscle. I can see it now, hundreds of T-men, emerging from their winter hibernations more muscular than ever, just in time for sring/summer break, in search of Cat. To all those, like me, who are anal about spilling viable Mag-10/Methoxy-7 under/around the cap and bottleneck during dosing,I have a suggestion that has worked a little better than just using the cap alone. Go to your nearest drugstore and find any cough/cold product that comes with one of those small plastic dosing cups,i.e. Nyquil, that has dosing measurements on it, mL/tsp (10mL=2tsp). Throw the medicine away cause you won’t need it where you’re going, and pour the desired amount into the plastic cup. Then after you down the anabolic depthcharge, swipe the droplet remaining on the bottle with your finger, fill cup with water and drink to rinse, repeat rinse/drink cycle as often as necessary to acheive what I like to call, “Dosage Utopia”.

This method takes a little longer, but you are assured of not having wasted any product and of not making a sticky mess with the bottle and cap. One more thing, since I cannot afford Mag-10 at the two full dosages per day regimen (9mLx2), I am planning on using the dosing cup to measure out slightly higher than half dose twice per day,i.e. 5-7.5mL(1-1.5tsp) twice per day for a total of anywhere between 10-15mL per day depending on how I respond to the product, starting with the lowest dose mentioned above. Late.

I am thinking of getting Mag-10, but I wanted to ask for some advice first. I’m currently about 154 lbs. at 5’9, about to turn 20 yrs. old. I’m pretty much always trying to gain weight, and I always have a difficult time making significant gains. I’ve been able to slowly put on weight (about 2 lbs. a month)for the past few months but can never make significant gains and KEEP them. I’m afraid that if I use Mag-10, about a month or two after I stop I’ll have lost much of my gains. I consistently eat over 3000 calories per day and at least 200 g of protein, but would have trouble eating around 4000 cal. (and affording the food) consistently. My training consists of mostly the “big lifts.” What do you guys think I should do?

I’m on day 8. My weight has stayed even at 194 since day 5 but my measurements are up again. Arms have stayed the same but chest and thighs are up 1/2 an inch and calves are up 1/4. I’m keeping my calories at about 4900, (required). I’m doing two doses a day, one at 5:00am and second at 5:00pm.
I am having problems with sleep a bit. I got home from pm work out and died. Didn’t finish eating for the day and only got 4200 cals.
I’m off today so I’ll get the needed rest and I’m back tomorrow. I feel great.

To all those posting results - good job! The numbers posted are amazing. Just a reminder though, increase your protein and caloric intake as you continue to put on muscle. Don’t continue to eat the same amount of protein and calories you started Mag-10 with.
