MAG-10 Support Group

Is this the same Brad Johnson who plays for the Tampa Bay Bucs? Better be careful-the NFL might test for this stuff…Hehe. Just kidding. I definitely wouldn’t go under 2g of protein per lb. bodyweight. I’m at almost 2.5.

1 CC (cubic cm) equals 1 mL. so you’re good to go.

I have to admit I am skeptical on how good this stuff is going to be but the feedback looks positive so far. Chris, how much is this cycle that you recommend costing? It just seems with MAG-10, Tribex, M, Surge, AP and whatever else is recommended that a cycle is extremely expensive.

Any thoughts?

No, this isn’t the same Brad Johnson that plays for the Bucs. I can actually pass for over 5 yards at a time:) Anyway, how much are you weighing Eric, 2.5 would be a lot per meal if your around 200 or more. Even if your eating 8 times a day that’s over 60 grams at 200 pounds. I guess maybe I’m just a po college kid and don’t want to spend that much dough on protein sources. Thanks for the feedback though!

Just wanted to ad my $.02. I’m on day three of mag-10. All I can say is it’s amazed me beyond my expectations. I’m a typical ‘easy fat gainer’ especially when I start to raise my carbs much higher than 150 grams a day. I’m eating 4000 calories/day, 40/40/20. I’ve so far gained five pounds, and NONE of it seems to be fat. I still have very visible abs and veins. According to my Tanita scale, my BF% DROPPED one percent! I agree with somebody else’s observation that it feels like the pump lasts ALL day. Hours after my workout, I feel that rush of blood that I typically only feel post workout. No noticeable change in sex drive, though. The only problem I’ve experienced, is that I’m not sleeping worth a damn. I know this can be an effect of elevated T levels, anyone else experiencing this? This stuff blows away my expectations. BIOTEST ROCKS!

Mac- Not sure if you’re addressing me, but here goes anyway. What cycle are you talking about exactly? Growth Surge Project? Because in this thread, I’ve suggested no cycle. For MAG-10, all you need is a bottle of MAG-10 if you plan on staying on two weeks then off four. If you plan an extended cycle or do the “buy 2 get 1 free” thing, then the cycle recommended is to take two week breaks using Tribex and/or M between each MAG-10 cycle. How much you spend is up to you and depends on the cycle you follow. You can look up the costs at the Biotest store. (www.biotestedge.com)

I just needed to re-ask my dosage question. Would it be beneficial for me to take 1 cap, twice a day, instead of 1.5 caps once a day? Like, is there a reason for taking the 1.5 caps all at once, or would the sustained blood content by taking two smaller servings suffice? Anyway, this is what I’m going to do unless I get an answer otherwise.

My weight as of today is 201 lbs. That’s a 7 lb gain so far.

Yes, I have had trouble with spilling the stuff a bit at first. When I put the cap back on, a bit oozed out and ran down the bottle. If that happens, just lick it off the bottle. However, this can be avoided by making sure you get every drop from the cap into your mouth, and put the cap back on slowly and carefully.

I’m going crazy here! I’m on the second week of Phase I, and I’m so ready to start the MAG-10! I feel like a lazy sack of shit from all this sitting around and short, low-volume workouts! Someone help me! I just have to last until Monday. That’s when I’ll hit the MAG-10 and start training six days a week. But until then, I need something to ease my pain from not doing anything!

Hey ya’ll, I need some advice. I’m planning to do the GS Project, starting with Phase 1, then alternating Phases 2 & 3 for three times each, using Mag-10 during each Phase 2 and Tribex/M during each Phase 3. The question is, do ya’ll think I’ll get overtrained? I’m 47, and have only gotten serious with free weights and nutrition in the past eight months, after years of fooling around with machines, “just staying in shape”. I’ve made steady progress with a Stuart McRobert-style program (alternating leg and upper body workouts Tues.-Thurs.-Sunday, 2 sets per exercise; that’s 3 of each workout every 2 weeks). Anybody think I should try the Phase 2 two-a-days, or should I stay away from them & do the Phase 2 one-a-day alternative? Or neither, and just up the intensity & volume of my regular program? I’m fit but small, 5’8", 150, chest 40", arms a whopping 13", you get the picture. I’m thinking Mag-10 is just the ticket for gaining some size at my age, but I dunno about these killer GS 2-a-days… Thanks for the help.

I think it’s important to remember that protein intake needs to correspond to the person. I other words, 500g would definitely seem like a lot for someone who is only 100lbs. who is accustomed to eating only 60g per day. However, if you take a 200 lb. bodybuilder who is prone to gain fat easily on a high carb diet, 500g might not seem like much because he might have already been taking in a lot anyway. I know that I take in about 2g per lb. anyway (I do well with more protein and fat meals), so adding some extra protein is no big deal. I will admit, though, I am very interested to see how well I will tolerate more carbs on Mag-10. Summarily, just look at it proportionally: eating 2g+ protein per pound of bodyweight will be as difficult for a 100 pounder as a 200 pounder even though they’ll have different intake totals. Take a look at what Tim Patterson said in last Friday’s “Mag-10 Plan for Success” in case you need reassurance. Good luck, and keep us posted.

I’ve heard a few comments about not sleeping well. This is common with steroids and a couple of people get that with Androsol. So a few may get it with MAG-10. Melatonin works great at helping with this. ZMA tends to help too.

There is also a psychological factor. If you think you won’t sleep well, then you won’t. If you try to force sleep, then your body will dump adrenaline because it thinks you’re in an emergency. So tell yourself that you will sleep like a baby. Then, most likely, you will. (I’m prepping an article now about tapping into the mind to get better gains from bodybuilding. It’s amazing what the body can do when you simply tell it what to do.)

I just wanted to make a few comments. 1) This MAG-10 is AWESOME!!! I have been a hard gainer my whole life and have tried a lot of different diets and training methods (never pro-hormone stuff before), with VERY little gains. Today I am on day 7 of GS with using MAG-10 once a day and have gained about 7 pounds with very little or no fat increase. My strength has gone up to a point where I was freaking out last night in disbelief. Sets with weights that I previously couldn’t do at all I am now doing 3x6s of. I am a believer, and am only 1/2 way through the first cycle of MAG-10.

  1. I haven’t noticed any sleeping problems or any side-effects. If anything I am happier than I ever have been, not “easily angered.” I think the fact I am FINALLY gaining has my mood up.

I just want to thank all you geniuses at Biotest. Your product has really helped motivate me, just a normal “skinny” guy (6’1, started program at 175). I cannot wait to see where I am a few months from now when I am done with my 3 cycles.

Thanks again,

-Eric

Airbaal- that’s great! Are you on stage II of Growth Surge? Did you do stage one? Are you taking one or two servings a day?

Dude, I got just the thing to ease your pain. Eat more pussy. Someone once gave me that advice and it seems to work well enough for me

Yeah, I’m on stage II. I did stage I just for a few days (patience isn’t something I have), BUT I was actually “eating maintenance calories” and only working out a few times a week and running, so basically I was on stage I without really knowing it at the time.

I am going to assume my gains are also somewhat "quick" because I am FAR from maxed out on my weight. I would imagine those "already huge" may have a harder time putting on more weight, but not sure, since this MAG-10 is 'da bomb' :-).

And I am doing just one serving a day, in the morning right after my first meal (Protein + Carbs). However, I did “load up” and had a serving the night before I started the first day of stage II. At this point I am not even going to consider two servings a day. I don’t know if it would do much good at this point and it gets expensive if you are on a budget.

Have you started yet?

Nice gains! Just out of curiosity, what’s your diet looking like? Are you using Massive Eating and, if so, how many P&F and P&C meals? Keep up the good work!

I am doing 4,744 cal, 376g protein, 566g carbs, 115 g fat. I used the Growth Surge formula. The protein is a little lower than what the formula called for and the calories are 300 under what it “should” be, but: a) I am already like 1500 cal over maintenance, and b) am basically 2x body weight in protein.

My day is: P+C (then Mag-10 after meal), workout, P+F, P+C, workout, P+F, P+C, P+F. I am also supplementing with Glutamine, MultiVitamin, Creatine, and Flaxseed Oil (2tbsp a day with first P+F meal).

Basically I am eating LOTS of chicken (18 oz a day), sunflower seeds (for fat), jerky (helps get protein requirements per meal), apples, oatmeal, and rice. -Eric
