New PR! Body weight around 225 lbs…
Excellent. How integral to do you feel front squats are to strongman competition? I barely do them but I plan to compete some time between this year and early next year.

I would recommend working Front Squats into your program; they provide good carryover to a number of events including overhead press, tire flip, and stone loading.

Thank you - here is a pause frame of the depth.
I don’t mean to be a dick or anything but are you wearing breifs? That was the weirdest looking front squat I have ever seen.
Awesome depth! Made it look easy. Huge front squat. Congrats.
Hell yeah. Good lift!
I absolutely suck at front squats, guess I gotta work on that haha.

No, just a belt and knee wraps. I thought that my technique was pretty standard but maybe not…
Here is my 505 lbs from almost two years ago:
475 lbs with knee wraps from 3 1/2 years ago:

Looks like every other front squat I’ve seen.
I don’t understand why it looks like a geared front squat (sounds silly just saying it). Is Storm the Beach fallible?
OP congrats but why have you only gained 10lbs in 2 years. Close to your max potential? Dont do much front squatting? Injuries? Lower weight class?

The bar path, hip position, and foot position are all just strange for a front squat. It doesn’t mean anything. Hopefully, the internet will forgive me at some point. Now, I need to go switch usernames so that I can come back and troll the shit out of this thread…
