I’m a teenager and I’ve benched the typical weight yesterday.
Today, I woke up with pain/extreme soreness in my lower back. I don’t think that this is supposed to happen because to my knowledge, benching doesn’t incorporate the back muscles. So what should I do?
Do you pinch your should blades together when you lie down, naturally causing your back to arch; leave your ass on the bench & feet flat on the floor, slightly tucked in under your legs?
There is a piece there about benching correctly - I used to get a pain in my left shoulder until I learnt to use the above method - mainly due to tucking in my elbows.
