My lower back feels a little stiff, like my body isnt alligned straight when im sitting on my back. Its the same thing as leaning back to much at a deadlift lockout. Its started the last week when i squated 7x3 80% rm lowbar. At the last 2 sets i felt like my lower back was doing the job , like a good morning and immediatly felt some discomfort.
5 days passed since then and only today i felt that discomfort again when i sitted on a chair for 2 hours straight. It got better as i write this, hardly feeling it now…what could it be?Im thinking of replacing it with front squats and some ab work, btw i dont train abs directly.
edit: the back discomfort is almost gone, but when i stand straight my erectors still feel very tight…
How do you warm up? Do you do any mobility work?
I do variations of yoga moves something like…
upward facing dog
parvritta pavanmuktasana
Happy Baby â?? Ananda Balasana
Also stick to high bar squats…

LOL, no trolling!
I had a feeling of “pressure” in the lower back while doing 5/3/1 BBB with low bar squats and conventional dead lifts. I switched to high bar squats and sumo dead lifts and the pressure mostly went away. Then I went to a doc and found out I have had a bulging disc and two dark discs for years and didn’t know about it. Then I went to physio and they prescribed mobility work (the exercises mentioned). Works pretty well for me… BTW, I’m in no way qualified to make a diagnosis… I’m just saying I’d start by switching to exercises less stressful for the lower back, add in mobility as a warm-up and see a doc.
And make damn sure your technique is perfect at higher weight… you didn’t mentioned the weight you were doing, but it seems to me that there are a lot of posts like this: “I was dead lifting 400 lbs+ / squating 350 lbs+ and XYZ happened to my back and I’m all f*** up now, what should I do?” I suspect the combination of bad form + high weight is responsible for many, many injuries.

Thanks man, il try some mobility exercises before going to the gym.The ‘‘pressure’’ is gone now, i dont know if its from front squats but after after doing them they felt more natural
