Losing Fat - A Log

I need to get some leg pics up sometime.

Why I almost didn’t make it home last night.

I wore shorts and a tee shirt Thursday night.

The snow came in Friday night. I’m not happy about it.

So here’s the deal. I purchased a pre-work out NO product. I understand that many people here think they are worthless. Well its hard for me with my food intake and work out put to still get intense lifts alone. After getting countless samples at the Arnold and trying them I realized they are great for staying intense. I get a “pump” but could care less, its just a side effect from lifting heavy weight hard.

The product I purchased was NO-shotgun by VPX. 16 grams of protein, Beta-alanine, creatine, and arginine.

Glad you made it home safely. I live here in MI and we were supposed to get 10 inches this weekend…but it looks like it missed us and hit you guys instead - sorry!

Good progress man. What’s your overall goal?

The NO is bunk. Have you tried BCAA’s? They seem to give me a little extra push especially if I’m restricting kcals.

I disagree NO is bunk, I used to think the same. Sometimes you have to try it. I’m not one of those bodybuilding.com douche bag kids that swear by it. It’s good for an intense workout.

As for BCAAs I plan on purchasing Xtend by scivation. As much as I like Biotest, I hate taking a bunch of tablets.

My overall goal is to have a full set of abs. Bodybuilding for me will never stop though.

I just MADE my own food, best part about being home. The Chicken breast was amazing, I even beat it and seasoned it. Made the chicken at school look like shit. Then I had a FRESH salad.

While I was eating I had the chance to watch a little TV. I don’t have a TV in my dorm room, and never watch it. I’m either at class, studying, training, or on the web. It’s amazing how much shit food is advertised. Who gives a fuck if Toaster Strudles are better than Pop-Tarts?

Hey Condor, I was just looking at the BCAAs you planned on getting and figured I’d let you know of another great product as well. There is a BCAA product by Xtreme ICE that has 90 servings of 10g - I’ve had nothing but good experiences with this product, and I was doing the calculations between this product and the one you were going to get and you’d certainly come out ahead with this product as far as servings go.

I’ve only used Grape flavor which tastes great to me, so I can’t comment on the other flavors.

Great job, I definitely see a difference especially in the midsection.

Also sounds like you’re learning to love clean cookin’ - that’s a great thing that will keep you a healthy individual for the rest of your life.

Thanks a lot guys, My journey began a long time ago, now I think I’m in the “easy” stage. Food has finally become just fuel for me now.

Hey man, I can tell you from experience, that you are not in the easy stage. If you feel that things are easy, that means you can push yourself just a little bit harder.

Remember, when you brain tells you you’ve hit a certain limit, you can always go further.

I wish you the best in your journey and will definitely keep my eye on you.

Check out my thread on the Physique Clinic to get any pointers you need or just shoot me a message.

I read all your posts. Great job, its seem you are on the right track. I was wondering if you went to OSU. I went there for 5 years and just took a job in Dayton. I took NO2 for a little bit, and I think there was caffeine in the one I had. I think thats what played the biggest part in my workouts. When it ran out, I never got more, but I’d say do what you went in terms of the NO2.

I am taking BCAAs and have been on a pretty much 2200 cal diet. I’ve lost about 4 pounds since Jan 22nd, and feel generally stronger and more in shape. So, I would recommend the BCAAs.

Good work with dealing with dorm food. I never got used to it and put on a whole lot of weight. I’m just starting to learn how to eat right, and it definitely the most important part of any training program. At work somebody is always bringing in donuts, cake, or some other junk food. I want to put a big sign up that says “Stop Feeding the Office Crap” next to a big bowl of apples and oranges.

Anyway, good luck and keep with it. I’ll keep checking this thread out.

Celebrity posting in my thread? I love it. Don’t think I haven’t been looking at the Physique Clinic since day one. I’m impressed by your results. I’ve kept up with you and Gus the most because we have the same goal.

I go to Otterbein, btw. The dorm food does suck, I always have to eat the same chicken, or refuse they call veggies. I just eat the chicken up there, and try to eat broccoli I have in my room. I hate chicken and broccoli. When I’m at home I eat as much steak, and eggs as I can.

Thanks a lot guys, bad all I can do is check T-Nation on a Saturday night. Snow is not good.

Uofh, I just got done studying buddism in my religion class, meditation in full-lotus position. My legs can’t bend that way.

I was going to do fasted cardio this morning. I woke up and decided that was a bad Idea. Will do It later this evening.

9:00: 40 Grams Metabolic Drive, 1 cup broccoli.

12:00: Lots of chicken, and some salad.

I’ll be limiting carbs to before/after lifting, and veggies.

Will update with lift and rest of food tonight.

I will continue to update with pictures bi-weekly.

Back to lifting 3 days a week due to break in school. Will have 4 weeks of it. Taking one whole week of from lifting next week.

Fasted cardio is the devil’s work. Really. Only the devil could come up with something so evil.

Looking forward to pics, should see good progress with 2 weeks inbetween.

Glad to see you updated again - I was beginning the snow had taken you under!

I see progress already.

This is taking forever. Sometimes I just want to V-Diet, I don’t think it would be that hard. Yeah, I said it.
It’s not possible with my work output though. I would probably die. It’s expensive though. I’m not rationalizing either. I don’t need it.

No cardio or lifting today. I moved Friday’s lift to yesterday, I’m going to rest on weights till Monday. Will resume cardio tomorrow.

Hey Condor Looks like your making good progress Man! Remember not to cut calories to much just make sure there all From goon Natural sources you seem to be on the right track! Keep lifting Heavy!

The Only suggestion I would make is to maby do your cardio in the morning or after your weight training but make sure its low intensity!

(I know it can be Tuff when in College. Im in the same boat its hard to find time but you can do it buddy! Keep up the good work)

I’ve been doing some fasted morning cardio. I would do cardio after lifting but I feel like shit if I don’t have some protein and carbs immediately afterward.
Thanks for posting.
Progress pictures will be posted on Friday/Saturday when I get home for spring break.
