Hey so i am taking a creatine supplement as part of my routine…I tend to drink as much liquids throughout the day as well as during my workout and post-workout…I do tend to go to the bathroom more that the average person…what i’ve heard is that it may cause you to lose a lot of the creatine that you have supplemented…is this true??
I know that this has been posted several times as well…but I am taking approx. 1 tsp (5 grams) of creatine after each workout and on days off…does this seem accurate or should i be taking more during workout days??
If you really think you’re missing out on it’s “benefits” (sorry a little creatine jaded), then take a little more. If you’re taking 5 grams now, up it to 10 for a couple of weeks.
5g a day is fine. Your not ‘losing’ it if you piss a bunch. But it’s like anything else…after a while in your body, it’s gotta come out. That’s what you take 5g a DAY.
If anything your doing yourself a favor by being well hydrated. One should be sure they stay well hydrates and more so when supplementing with creatine.
Fluids = good
Pee = good your excreting all the junk that needs to be.
