I remember CT saying tight traps sort of inhibit the growth of your lats, or something like that.
My traps are extremely tight and in fact I can’t seem to loose this crick in my neck for that reason. In some way, I have problems developing my lat area; can’t seem to achieve that V-Taper despite the fact that I train lats first and with more volume than my pressing movements.

So, how exactly do you remedy tight traps?

dont do shrugs until your problem becomes less
and grab onto a stable object that you can grip on both sides(think like db shrug type grip) push yourself up WITH YOUR LEGS. that should help stretch them.
