Too much volume… low nutrient density…
She’s pretty jacked. I wouldn’t drastically change a ton of variables at once.
But is her routine / nutrition optimal ?? Unlikely. That’s how I look at programming anyway.
Maybe. I dunno. I’m not really arguing, just a different point of view: if you’re getting an A+ on the test, clearly something is right in your study habits. Maybe you tweak some things to better align with your life or get more efficient or any number of valid goals, but I would just go slowly so you don’t risk throwing out the good with the bad.
It has been rough these past few weeks due to personal things but I am trying to optimize where I can.
Made my day. Thank you
Keep grinding… good support network here
I’m not arguing either… Simply the perspective I take when looking at and assessing programs
yeah i got something for ya…
you doing too much… not enough recovery. exercises overlapping so same body part is going to failure more than necessary. if you’re trying to get jacked
volume is a negative.
@Bane2
What is overlapping? She showed us an upper day with some deadlifts and then a leg day two days later. She never said she was taking it all to failure. She never said she was taking anything to failure actually.
You have posted a bunch of crap in the past with 0 proof that you actually have a good physique or know anything about lifting/bodybuilding.
deadlifts and then a leg day two days later
When @Bane2 talks everyone listens. He just called out my workout strategy that I did my entire 40’s. I did Back and Chest on Mondays which included deadlifts. The intensity was severe, so I took Tuesday off. Then on Wednesday I did Legs which was also severe, so I followed that with Thursday off. And I actually thought that I was pretty smart with my recovery strategy.
If i recall correctly, he also believes he can do one set per week per muscle group.
Pretty sure he is delusional.
There’s more peripheral stimulation than people realize
@Bane2
What’s wrong with that. You have 0 idea of the intensity she uses or what her recovery is like. She is not a newb to weight training. From your past posts, your training philosophy is not in line with 99.99% of others out there. You also offer 0 proof that what you do works.
Deadlifts are a lousy back exercise anyway. It’s hip extension so mostly posterior lower body and some erectors
I would agree but she is not complaining of having a bad leg workout or not being recovered. She just posted a couple days of training.
What i’m not agreeing with is the comments by @Bane2.
…
Dude wrote off Fortitude Training because (Dr.) Scott Stevenson looked like he was on those gross icky steroids

She already is, though.
I don’t know how fair it is to @kitchen-lift that she’s become the vehicle for us to argue our own preferences. She’s not even part of the discussion anymore.
@TrainForPain You know that’s how these forums go- a pissing contest derails most every thread. So irritating.
