Congrats on the PR but I want to talk about this!

Yesterday in sitting in the parking lot waiting for a car to leave so I can snag his spot. The lot is full and I got lucky. The downside is that it’s the first spot in the row on my right side. I’m facing the complete opposite direction so I have no choice but to wait parallel to him until he leaves. I’m also dead even with another entrance.

A car pulls in from the street and stops right in front of me blocking my path. He proceeds to take my spot. I wasn’t upset because the car right next to “my spot” is also leaving so I just wait.

This fat, dumb bitch comes from behind me, drives around me, cuts me off and steals my spot! Are you serious? That took being a selfish prick to a whole new level!

Sorry for cussing but those are the words that are actually in my head most of the time.

Now, I’m at the gym to workout. So why should I care about walking further, you say? Well, I have a 5 year old girl and gigantic 21 month old boy with me and it really sucks parking in the street. I’d prefer to not have them hit by a passing car. But people don’t seem to notice that stuff in parking lots. The world revolves around them (and that chick was big enough that she might’ve had a bit of gravitational pull).

@anon71262119- I like to watch myself squat so I don’t think that is an option. However, I was seriuosly considering trying to let some major gas go and hope he was downwind! Thankfully, the douche became aware of my angry glare and fuck off body language and moved!

@Frank_C- well she sounds like a right cunt. People these days have really just lost their manners and treating others how they would want to be treated. No problem about your language, I have got the worst potty mouth ever.
I hope your hate and anger transferred to a kick ass workout. And, if she was as big as you describe, she most likely hates herself more then you ever could! Selfish bitch!

Unfortunately all I did yesterday was run and foam roll. I think she met a friend there who was fatter than her and she was cussing at the stairs as she went up :joy:

All of the fitness stuff is on the third floor!

haha I wish I could say I was just some vigilante, but yeah I work at a gym. That is a great shirt idea, I’ll ask my boss to get it approved cause im sure she wants one.

Bench Day- Cycle Two-Week Two-5/3/1

Bench
1x10-45 lb warm up
1x3- 65 lbs
1x3- 75 lbs
1x6- 80 lbs - REP PR

*** well when I first started this program I could not even do 1x3 at 80 lbs, so very happy! However, I really need to get some advice on form, I feel like my arch flattens out the further I am in to my reps, I have no idea how to use leg drive to increase weight, and I am scared I am gonna stop progressing on this lift soon, especially for reps***

Flat DB Fly’s- 3 x10- 20 lbs

SUPERSET WITH:

Push -Ups- 3x 20

Bent over BB Rows
3x15- 65 lbs

Chins (unassisted-no pop up)
3x3

SUPERSET WITH:

Dips (unassisted)

Good workout. I felt strong! Now, three days off, 3 night shifts in a row which essentially means eat, sleep, work…repeat! Finding a few days off is helping my lifting though. On to week 3 on Monday :slight_smile:

Awesome, you’re a strong girl.
Dips kills my shoulders too, I fell it in the pecs, but it’s hard on the shoulders.

About setting up, there’s a ton of videos about setting up bench.
I have a shitty arch and can’t find a way to get any leg drive :slight_smile:
I’ll see if anybody have some great cues :slight_smile:

When I go to a commercial gym, I do the same thing. That way you can watch people watch you :smile:

@mortdk- I will do some research about bench this weekend! Dips are hard on the shoulders, I am pretty sure that is wht I can’t get past 5 (I used to do them weighte for pete’s sake) getting old bites!!

@ouroboro_s- thanks for stopping by, if I were lifting as much as you and powerpuff I might face the other way in the squat rack. Would you have any advice about ways to improve my bench?

There’s been one time that’s happened to me and I straight Up just pushed it out of my way with my foot. I’m getting more and more aggressive in the gym, but people keep getting more and more irritating these days.

Damn gurl thats a long session.

Yeah I just try to be friendly with everyone while Im there, helps the time pass when Im not doing much and I love talking/getting to know people so its a win/win. Just happens to be alot of college/high school age girls who workout there, along with some known creeps, so when I know someones creepin on them I like to let them know that I can do something about it if its really bothering them.

Edit: just for clarity sake, Im not that guy who walks up to you mid set to ask about your day. Hate that shit.

It definitely hurts more. I think it’s helped keep my DOMs in check by doing it the two days after my high volume leg day.
