I know theres info in the T-Cell, but how do you train, what do you eat, and what’s your deepest darkest secret
He eats White Women
he lifts them
all day
and has done so far years
that’s it
that’s all
I’m here to announce my personal affection for Mr. Mo Bitches
Hallowed, I believe Mr. Whitehurst spells bitches with a “z”
Haha, nice! Lewhitehurst is a huge guy, he’s humble (doesn’t go around giving unsolicited advice), and he’s super helpful. I’ve been PM’ing with him this past week, and he’s been a great help! I’d like to know more about what got him to where he is.

Plus, his years of LIFE experience, wisdom, and sense of humor.
Not to mention his taste for heavy metal.
Someone say heavy metal??

Hallowed gets the privilege of spelling it without the “z”, but the reason why IS that deepest, darkest secret you asked about. LOL
Training has always been pretty simple for me:
-
Lift as heavy as possible, while controlling the weight. I’ve always kind of had a Tom Platz approach to things. It’s not about high reps with light weights or low reps with heavy weights, but high reps with high weights. I might only do 3-5 reps a set, but I may do 10 or 15 sets of that. I have never purposely done a max rep on any lift.
-
I get in and get out. I have never had the desire to spend more than an hour in the weightroom and prefer keeping it less than 45 mins. Plus, setting a time limit keeps you focused on the task at hand. I could never understand spending 2 and 3 hours to accomplish something you can do in less than half the time.
-
As far as eating, I have been at this so long, I eat when I am hungry. I just “know” when i need to eat. Some days that may mean I eat 8 or 9 times. Other days it may be only once or twice. Either way, I tend to eat a lot more than the average person. When working on getting lean, I was already doing something similar to CT’s Pulse Fast. Truthfully, a LOT of the techniques and training philosophies that are on here, I either figured out or learned from someone more experienced before they ever popped up on here. It’s just that the authors on here actually researched and studied this stuff to figure out WHY it works and guys like me know it does, so we just did it without really wondering about the why.
EDIT: The way I eat is not for newbies looking to put on mass. Eat everything that’s not nailed down and eat constantly. You should be sick and tired of eating when you go to bed. And PLEASE eat some food that has fat in it. I get so sick and tired of 130 lb guys saying they are bulking and that there diet consists of brown rice, broccoli and chicken breasts. Stop worrying about your abs. You can’t see those through a shirt, anyway. What everyone can see through a shirt and what signifies you lift weights is traps and shoulders and depending on the shirt, your arms.
i bet he does TBT 5x5 3 times a week
kidding haha you are huge man.
you say you do 10-15 sets of 3-5 reps. Is that all on one exercise? How many exercises for that muscle group will you do after that if so?

Yep. All one exercise. Without really realizing it I was doing a combo of what CT recommends along with EDT. All I was trying to do was figure out a way to lift as heavy as I could in the shortest amount of time.
I always work the larger muscle groups first and then I would isolate my smaller muscles either after that or even do them in another session, either later that day or on another day. For me it’s always been about doing the most amount of work in the shortest amount of time without overdoing it.

Yes. And it’s delicious.
Did I remember correctly that you lift at your house?
Out of all the big black bald guys posting on this board, Lew is my favorite.

Makes sense. Obviously works for you too.
Now, would you switch up what workout you hit each week for a particular large muscle group? Say, something like 10-15 sets of 3-5 reps of bench one week, and then the next week do the same with incline bench?

If you do do you find it harder to concentrate while training at yout house instead of at the gym? If so do you have tips or a routine to get into the zone when training there?

Yeah, any reason to get to Texas. I have YET to come across a woman that is originally from Texas that wasn’t gorgeous. Especially the blondes for some reason. Must be something in the water…
