Ok, I’ve been wondering about this for a long time and I’m hoping one of you has an explanation. My left leg, more so my quad, has a little annoying fucking pain every time I back squat. I take time off, come back light with high repetitions, and it’s ok for a while, then it gets hurt again.
Here’s the strange part, I can front squat with no pain, deadlift with no pain, clean with no pain, etc… Only back squats and nothing else make it hurt. Anybody have a clue how the hell this is possible?
Another variable is the position of the load itself. When it is on your back, you will tend to lean forward, unless you resist it. Therefore, if you have a weakness/injury in your back, it may shift the load to one leg over another. Repetition of this could cause injury. You may want to get checked out by someone who knows what they are doing.
Take Care,
Pat

The one variable that potentially seperates your back squats from the other leg exercises is your stance. How wide are you keeping your feet?[/quote]
