Knee Strengthening

I just got done doing CT’s Get Vertical program and I got a long stronger in my squat. I go deep on my squats, so I don’t think my form is the problem. However, I feel like my knees aren’t as strong as they should be. I’ve been having small pains in my knees. I took my week off after the program to let my body rest up.

I’m about to start Kelly Baggetts speed program, but I’m wondering if I should take a month where I use lighter loads and do more reps(10-15) to make sure my connective tissues are strong? I already do foam rolling, and mobility drills before I work out. Any advice?

this may not be what you’re looking for, but try soaking your knees in hot water (as hot as you can handle without burning your skin) daily for thirty minutes.

Thanks! I ended up getting his Bulletproof Knees package. I’ve torn my ACL twice and can’t wait to get started with his stuff.
