this weekend involved
some cement/masonry work in the garage, attempting to clean the garage

ā€˜cleaning’ the house, organizing all the crap from our apartment
into the 14,000 degree attic

grilling
laughing with wife and baby…

5x
30 push-ups (various)
10 hanging leg raises

5x
drive way/hill sprints 300ft or just under 100yds
10 neutral grip pullups off some chains hanging in the garage.

this is all at the weekend place
it sounds like work but it is relaxing
no beekeeping this year, too busy
and too many bullshit beekeepers, who sell junk.

note to all people who enjoy hobbies,
if you make it your business you have to work allot harder then you think
or you will suck.

for those wondering why I don’t fill the garage with a gym…
I agreed not to until we did certain stuff at the house seemed fair at first.

when we closed 4 years ago we wanted the house emptied, the attic basement etc.
of all the shit that they did not want to deal with.

I know so demanding.

the ā€˜barn’ garage thing is like a barn converted to a garage with a few rooms and an attic
and an additional garage attached, well they emptied the house, basement, attic, lawn junk etc
all into the garage/barn.

coming up for air a little

have been turning down work
so I booked a bunch of dates and found a nanny for now

I guess that’s how that works…

uhm for anyone wanting to fall over-
try the BSS after the BW squat- seems so easy.

I spelled it out to not jinxx seems like not training and not working
alleviate some everyday pain - but I still have zero mobility there.

as for leanness- bw stuff has improved on leaness lets hope I dont look like a crossfitter

Need to get back into some of that body weight stuff. Knew guys who could bench over 300 but barely do a pushup. Back to work sucks. C’est la vie.

I know many a folks that cannot do a pushup , but can bench well.

I was just thinking about you. There is a contest in the conditioning section for push ups. I don’t know if you’ve seen it. If you can’t get out to touch some iron, a contest should at least keep things a bit fun.

I tried some last night and suck.

Doesn’t it sometimes seem like life is variations of giving someone, somewhere cash for multiple sets and reps.

I think your volume and intensity of handing out cash is pretty high and will impact recovery. The rest of the training looks good.

two or three beers and some meat will boost recovery.

I wish that the giving-nanny-cash sets meant that daddy got a break. But I suspect that was because daddy got to work.

figured out a way to do natural GHR at home WOO

Its more like lighting cash on fire for 5x5.

Its not bad really- just stuff to be done to sell an apartment.

20 alternating rear lunges
50 bw squats
30 pushup (variant)
10 GHR
10 ab wheel
30 pushups dif variant

I feel all skinny

teeny strong and ripped is not a bad way to go through life. I doubt all that bw work will make you ā€œweakā€

if you are feeling too small, work your traps. always makes me feel bigger

I think skinny small and showing veins and abs is most of my every day life…
that and its just hard to eat in the summer too hot

lots of lawn work wheelbarrow, sawzall, and come-along fun
some driveway sprints/pullups circuits too hot.
big bbq with the Bee group turns out to be a banner year
for the bee keepers- pissed we are not doing it this year.
great rain storm too

little man is awesome- Ill get up some pics- he is about the size of Meat or PeteS right now.

yesterday-

hand truck trip with 6 25 KG cartons of flooring
four block trip.
short trip up the 3 flights of stairs with said boxes.

funny as hell when the guys at the flooring store asked if I was taking it in one trip :slight_smile:

still on my gym deload- actually its kind of nice just would be nice to do this
and pick up or squat some heavy crap.

Neck is tricking me into thinking it works again- I wont fall for that shit.
