KMC's Blackirish Bastid Kicks Ass 2.0

hey home boy, up here in new england with the kids

Thanks people… too busy to see what yous’ are all up too. :frowning:

JimmyT good to here your back east with the fam
have a great visit.

Dude who painted and plastered our apartment did a nice job…
well see what the sales market is like when a few more contractor types…
take my money.

training-

Sat… a bunch of driveway sprints-
about 100 yds up hill.

Today

1x 100 body weight squats
2x50 pushups
planks
bodyweight sq tabata

ton of stroller pushing…

Fishcer- I am thinking of kettle bells and some kind of TRX- only cause it can go in a doorway.
not sure what size bells to buy,
36,50,or 70 lbs

we should form a club, the ā€˜over thirty five and busier than a one armed paper hanger’ club. Good work, good luck.

Good to see you are hanging in there. Good luck on the sale and the improvised training.

Stroller – the family man’s Prowler!

You’re going to get all lean with all that bodyweight work. Soon you’ll be rockin that stroller.

Glad you’re getting workouts in at home. Who knew life could get this complicated. My parents never told me.

yeah, study hard and get a good job hasn’t worked out for me, our parents lied

that’s why i ate mine

thanks for the support people…

Canadians Happy Canuck day Eh!
Americans - get ready to mass cosume and blow shit up.

life is complicated sometimes

every generation thinks their parents lied my parents are both teachers and horrible with money.
I know I suck at money issues so I use an Amex and an accountant
ADD + Dyslexia=suck at school but kick ass at work.
somehow I am a good electrician, math all day.
go figure.

this ā€˜forced deload’ of the spine is actually a great thing.

I am finding all kinds of shit o work on to correct other stuff.

bought a PVC 4"pipe 2 foot long for 4.99 at Home depot . Awesome.

today
mobility a shit load
PVC rolling lots

ankle shit for left ankle, TKE for same knee,
90/90 stretch and tons of shit for the hips.

then did this for 3 rounds
20 burpees
20 hindi/judo pushups
50 bw squats
15 sec plank

fuck burpees, hated them in college hate them know.

Baby is good- sleeping all night , tearing shit up all day.
Smiles all the time. about to start on real foods for him.

My parents probably told me the truth. I just chose not to listen. Truth is relative in any case. Usually, true comprehension of the truth lies within the living of it; at least for me

KMC, glad the boy is sleeping all night. Broken sleep doesn’t really do much to aid in clarity if anything. If it makes you feel any better, many of us had a lot of confusion with our first kids. Somehow just having baby related logistics complicates everything else. I don’t mean that in a negative way. It just means that it takes a lot more planning to do just about everything and that alone can be tiring in the beginning in addition to all the other challenges you’re having at the moment.

nice work buddy. Yeah, I feel like there are a shitload of lies we were all fed. Always kinda thought that was the case. I look at some of my friends who just chose not to participate. 40 now, just doing what they want, and somehow making it. Wish I would have stuck that route some days. Oh well.

I know money is tight but goggle search snap gyms. I was looking at these and they look affordable and pretty cool concept on a franchise key gym.

Hold it together Bro, tough times are like a thunder storm there is always a beginning and an end, you just can’t see the end when you are in the middle.

this too shall pass, my brother.

babies are the shizzle stick. they certainly help gain some perspective. mine is 12 now, and I still make an effort to slow down and see the world through his eyes. not as new as it was at rowan’s age, but still newer and more interesting than how I see it. And the enthusiasm at that age…

you are a lucky man. please enjoy this time, even if other stuff is not going as you would hope.

Fuck its hot.
102 today

grilled big, sprinted, swam and did lawn work this weekend

the baby life is awesome, watching someone tiny smile all day is great.

however I will admit to some stress, and braindeadedness
I am forgetting shit all day
and yes sometimes its hard to plan with the baby- what to do.

I think I carry this stroller more then push it…
all the trains in NYC have stairs, at the old tiny apartment we lived in a walk up
in the new tiny apartment we roll right in- huge difference.

this morning
hand stand pu 10x5 against a wall
air humps 2x100
bw squats 2x100
ab wheel a bunch

Hand stand push ups are a bitch. Good BW workouts.

dang. if I tried to do handstand pushups, i’d look like a pile driver. shorten my neck by 3" for sure. nice work kmac!

thanks people…

this afternoon

did this 4x

50 air humps
50 bw squats
35 pushups ( varieties)
10 ab wheel roll outs

102 in NYC? Careful, before you know it, Mooky is gonna throw a chair through the window of Sal’s Pizzaria and start a riot sometime after he puts ice on Tina’s perky breasts.

That is a pretty stout body weight circuit. Nice work.

I would love to try some Hand Stand push ups but I’m afraid my shoulders would never be the same.

One of these days. Probably soon.

I miss those baby smiles. Especially when they’ve been crying with Mom for hours and she hands him to you and all the sudden he lights up.
