Diapers and deadlifts… hmmmm.
has a nice ring to it.
Pch2 I hurt it several times- and its some other stuff, both how I sleep
and some work related things too.
injury wise, It has always hurt, like 4 to 6 Advil a day kind of thing for ??? 10 or so years,
usually its just a dull thing that you can ignore.
I guess when I made the transition from HS to college to Greco Roman club stuff, the competition got much much stiffer, and the rules at each level allow for a much more physical sport
Aging doesn’t help either
I got a series of severe concussions , and yes I got dropped on my head plenty. Really most stuff must have happened in training- the volume of work is there
So passing out a few times, and neck pain led me to stop competing ,then I went back to Judo.
Judo as hard as it is on the body isnt as bad as greco- so I thought I would be ok. Same for BJJ.
And I make television- for a living.
I work in lighting and spend a good bit of my day looking up at the ceiling, sounds silly
but the ceiling is where the bulk of our work takes place on a ‘grid’ of pipes that we hang or rig
our equipment off of.
So my neck is in constant extension- not a good position for anyone’s neck.
lastly I somehow wake up on my face, with my head turned to one side, really not good for me either.
Right now I have extremely limited mobility on the right side of my neck- I can barely turn it.
Nor can I bend my neck towards the left.
Right now my neck is the smallest its ever been since HS I guess I still have no neck, but its not as bulky
I had a great chiro who stopped taking anything but cash.
A rolfer helped allot, Im looking into ART, but timing is everything.
Bascially the diagnosis has all been similar herniated discs that have degenerated
and are kind of fused.
I mean if they took out a few vertebrae how bad could that be, its not like I could get any shorter
