Total respect for doing anything at all after long days and longer nights. Was there 20 years ago without the training pat of things.
Good to here the little one is going strong and getting bigger.

Thanks people.
I have new respect for most parents.
Saturday
foam, ball, lots of mobility crap at home
bodyweight squats 5x50
pushup 5x30
Hey puppet. Donāt be hard on yourself about height. Some of us like short. My guy is 5ā2" and thatās the way I like it.
Good that you are staying with the training. It may seem like itās tough to find the time but I think that doing it will make dealing with other stress a bit easier. I was never one of those mothers that was great with very young children and needed to have something to call my own to help me chill. You are likely better at it than I was but I think having an area carved out of your life for yourself, makes you a better parent. At the very least it makes you less likely to hide in closet and cry.
not that thereās anything wrong with hiding in the closet and crying.
is there

Not if thereās unauthorized badness behind both being in the closet and crying. It helps if you arenāt alone.
Getting any training in when you have one that young has got to be hard, good job.
Air humps = good. No sleep = bad.
I am down to elemental thoughts this evening.
I am not reaaly reading your log because I canāt cope with the idea on no sleep, little training. I will be there soon enough, again.
Thank you people, its all hard work.
But the best work ever, really I do all the domestic stuff,
and the wife does all the hard work.
I do appreciate the support,
Air humps are always good, and sleep would be nice too
Ill say that while no closet screaming between no sleep
mortgage renovation stress, lets say emotions are running high.
Training
4.20.10 lower
mobility a shit ton
A standing broad jumps 3x8
B snatch grip 2"deficit pulls 135x5,225x5,315x2x5,405x1. 405x1 315 x 5x2
C power curls 135x6,185x3
D bulgarian split squat pairs dbs 50,60,70,x5 80 2x3
E pull down abs 3x15
Notes
went for a grip and leg blow out.
No OH squats, shoulder is all gimpy.
14 thousand leg swings and 90/90 stretch instead
jumps fun wanted 4x8
pulls - did these off of a 2" aerobic thing really concentrated on sending the hips back
and āsquattingā the weight up
It seemed to work well and let me use more leg and have less low back fatigue.
something clicked and I did well
405 snatch deficit is a PR.
hands feel like milk now.
power curls just felt kind of bad ass
BSS felt awesome, 80ās might have been too much.
thats it.
thanks for reading.
I was looking at your snatch grip deficit and had to go have a lie down. Your legs must feel pretty smoked right now. The last time I did anything like that it was stiff leg deficits at no where near that weight and it about killed me.
strong work as always kev. i tried snatch grip deads without a deficit once, and decided to never do that again. i hate hard stuff.
I sumo dead because Iām so inflexible. I canāt imagine adding a deficit and snatch grip to a conventional dead. Great training Kevin.
My thighs feel like roasted meat sliding off a bone
and I cant close my hands.
feels fucking good.
I am deep deep recovery.
this morning foam, rubber ball work,
tons of stretches and mobility
bodyweight squats
Pushups

Have a hot bubble bath with a good book. It works for me. Or you could do push ups. Whichever is good.
I was thinking when I read that last workout that you were going to be hurting soon, what with the decreased frequency of your training. Sorry to see I was right. Good work.
Jesus, just catching up. That is some good pulling. I like the broad jumps, I do those on deload week for a little explosive work.
405!! That is really something, especially on low/no sleep. You beast!
Thanks peopleā¦
Carl you are right, decreased⦠activitly makes lots of bad recoveryā¦
I have no idea how I snatch gripped 405- Ive only done that a few times earlier⦠go figure.
hoping this will let me break some bigger stuff off the floor.
I will say all the air humps have made locking stuff out much easier.
training this am
4.26.10
mobility, lytp, dislocates pushupsā¦
A1 hanging leg raises feet to face 3x12
A2 face pulls 3x12
B1 chest supported row 2 plates x8 3 plates 5,5,5,5,5

C2 incline db BP 60x17
Complex
RDL
BO row
zercher squat
zercher reverse lunge
curl to press
75 3x8
Notes.
training in the am sucks feeling like ass in the am wooo!
rushed through this, in 45 mins.
row + pressing - always works for me 90ās felt like 200ās.
wanted two sets of Kroc rows, not happening in the am.
complex- these are good curl to press is awesome.
third set was almost a puke fest -
I should probably just do complexes for a while and get some economy of training.
or do one lift a day via dan john and complexes. hmmmm
thanks for the support
āeconomy of trainingā. Spoken like a true parent. You can get a lot out of a limited amount of training. I like the one main lift followed by a complex idea. That would be a quick, effective workout.
