The school scene in NYC is fffed up to say the least.
We all 5 of us went to the local parochial school.
It was a few blocks away, our public schools in the 70ās in Brooklyn sucked and or where not too safe.
Well those schools are not longer affordable or if they are catholic ( im not really ) they are having a
hard time with enrollment and budgets, imagine that.
Now its not a safety issue at all- but a neighborhood issue.
All of the nice neighborhoods in Manahatten- have lousy lousy public schools, because people in the richer neighborhoods send their kids to private school- and dont get involved with their public zone school
that and like every fucking thing else in NYC its too fucking competitive-
too few spots for too many kids even in the ghetto ass craptacular school.

kneeling jump things- could not get going on these, had to do lots and lots of ankle mobility

I remember watching people do cleans and snatches from this kneeling position
in the czech republic when I trained there .
and I saw big track/jumper types do them in college at one point in the weight room
I think Louie Simmons talked about it somewhere too.
these might be my new stupid thing to get good at???
deadlifts- pulling with the belt makes me want to puke.
385 x 6 last two got ugly, I guess I donāt like going over 5 for pullingā¦squats yes
pulls not so much. They just get too ugly- although I like what it does for my grip etc.
I bet I could do another set of 5ās instead of pushing the reps.

Great training buddy. I am really happy not to have to deal with New York schools, although even here it has gotten a little goofy.
I donāt think my knee could handle the kneeling jumps, but it looks like a great explosive exercise that would definitely get you stronger. getting good at those cannot be a bad thing.
as for feeling pukey pulling in a belt. are you wearing the belt tight or loose? If youāre not already doing this, have it a bit loose, so that its only tight when you take big air and push out against it. if you get this down, youāll love what it does to your pull. at least I do

bench- finding a set up that is working- feet flat up on plates, get something like an arch
I think I need to get the tris much stronger , its like all torso
did a set or two of wide reverse grip bench- think its what I need to get these tris doing something.
