I had a few of the opus x , 10 years ago I did a was on the road for two years doing shows,
and found some for something reasonable. In Ohio is where I found some.
And I bought some in Chicago- from Ivan Weiss.

Later did a gig on the QE2 before they retired it, and bought a BOX of cuban Hoyo Excalibers
made those last a number of years but I have not smoke a cigar in maybe 3? years.

funny, when I was in Chicago I had a sweet Cuban hook up. miss that hook up dearly.

Back before GetMo (Guantanamo) became what it is now I use to get down there a couple of times a year and had a couple of sources on good cigars. In the 80s spend a lot of time in South American and got some surprisingly good counterfeit smokes out of there. Now days it’s mainly over the counter stogies. Don’t know what I’d do with a $30+ cigar now. Your lifting is looking great seeing how’s you’re anticipating the blessed event any moment. Looks like several people on here are starting to do the reverse grip bench. Saw an article in a magazine a while back where Vince McMahon swore by them. Sorry, different kinda of rasslin.

(actually feeling good since I added more stuff for the thoracic)

B DB alternating bench 60 2x10

C rope high pulley pulldown/row 4x12

D shoulder tri set seated plate raises 25
db side laterals 15
db power clean/press 8

E1 timed db shrug 80 x 30 sec x2
E2 hammer curls 40 x2x10

Db complex

goblet squat,swings
curl and press, jump squats
50 for first 2, 25 for last 2
5x10

notes
bench- what ever couldnt manage reps did a few doubles.
alt. db presses, these got hard- and fun , holding the db in the ‘up’ position got to be the hard part

Defranco calls these rope pulldown/row things J pulldowns-
what ever they are they are the shit. Huge pump.
Its like a nautilus pullover a pull up and a row all at the same time.

Hammer curls kill my elbow no suprise.
Db complexes left me like a kitten.

Bench is creeping along- I think I made the best progress, with bench
when I did speed work- and yes I know how Ironic ‘speed’ work is with 155 on the bar.
and when I did ‘two board’ with a yoga matt.

speed work should be light. I love speed work for bench, can’t wait to get back to it.

Deads what to say, Felt fucking great, rocked it out. 5 reps one more single like 15 seconds later
db rdls felt aswesome good for learning how to engage the glutes

speed skater Bulgarian splits- I can do the regular ones with pairs of 80’s or even pairs 100’s
if I dont squat before… so these are very humbling.
its like 1.5 reps = 1rep. down , up halfway down, then up one rep.

OP- all of the mobility stuff I do is outlined In the mobility thread
it helps me allot.

I think I can pull 500 this year- all this glute - air humping has paid off.
I was really able to tap into glute contractions to lock out.
