Was he not aware that babies cry? Sometimes seemingly for hours on end? I had one that cried for the first six months of his life. He finally stopped.

Great pulling! Huge numbers![/quote]

Thanks for bringing back nightmares of Colic. The only time during most nights when mine would stop crying was when he was in my arms, and I was both standing up and moving. Talk about some shitty GPP.

Yes, my dad, god forbid, has to do abit of work with the baby and he gets nervous, haha.

As for the pulling , thank you. Though it was above knee it felt great to hold that much weight in my hand.

Ive been very lucky where none of my 3 kids really went thru any colicy periods. They were usually quite good, just the typical, I shit myself or hungry crying.

Sat (fun day)

right knee is bothering me, so I skipped the squats…however doing what I did made no sense as it put stress on my knee. dumb as a door knob sometimes I think.

Clean & Press 95x5 115x5 125x5 135x5 hard…wow tough exercise.
Rack Pulls (1st hole conv.) up to 405x10 stopped at 4 reps, then rested for a few seconds and went until i could hit 10. My conv. deadlifts are horrible.
DMB Walks 80/85/90x50 feet… easy.
DMB Finger Holds 15lbs x 75s / 86s
Seated Rows 200x8/4/3/2(all in 60s, stop rest)

By the end my hands were burning, callouses ripped. Fun stuff though.

Mon (w3/d1)

Chins 15/14/12/10

2 Board Bench 325x5x3
Speed Oly Squats 250x5x3
3 Board Bench 355x5x3

Dmb Flies 3x10
Tri-ext 4x10
Rope Pressdown 2x10

Nice easy day.

Thurs. (w3/d2)

WG Lat Pulldown 4x8

Sumo Deadlifts (80%) 405x3x3 (85%) 425x3x2
Pyramid Bench 190/230/280/320
Speed Sumo/Conv. Deadlifts (70%) 350x6x1

back ext 2x10
face pulls 3x15

I did everything either at a minute or under today (rest that is). Damn tired now.

I know I’m probably being stupid but what does this mean?

I use 70% of my 1rm for speed deadlifts. I alternate betweeen conv & sumo stance.

My first daughter had to go for a car ride, 20 miles, every night, for the first 6mos, or she wouldn’t sleep (Colic). My next 2 daughters slept throught the night from day one.

Like I said , I have been very fortunate with my children. They have, for the most part, been excellent.

Sat (w3/d4)

Clean & Press 95x5 115x5 125x5 135x5 145x5
Conv. Rack Pulls (4th hole-80%) 135x5 225x5 315x5 405x5 495x5 585x4/1/1/1/1/2
Farmer DMB Walks 90x50ft 100x50ft 110x30ft
Plate Finger Pinchs 25x45s/40s/42s
Seated Rows (60s) 210x12/4/2

Good tiring day. But it’s fun.

Mon. (w4/d1)

CG bar rows 6x5

Bench Press (65%) 4x5x245
Speed Squats (70%) 250x5x3

dmb flyes 3x10
tri work 6x10

Thats it.

Really excellent workouts. How are you doing the Plate finger pinches? I just hold a 45 by the rim and curl it up to my palm with the fingers. Sounds like what you’re doing. I also like to take 3 10s, flat side out, 1 in the middle, pinch them together and lift.

Thanks. I grip the weight with my finger tips, and hold them for aslong as I can. After doing all the stuff before hand, it is super hard.

Ive missed putting some of my workouts in here. Been busy with the family etc…
Anyways today was max rep for bench & squat.

Bench Press 140x4 230x3 320x2 340x1 360x1 380x1 (5lb pr) my spotter figured I had one more rep in me, my body thought not.

Squat …all I can say is I really am fucked for this. I got up 385x1. Problems galore. If I squat wide–witch I switched to after 300 my hips hurt. However the close stance was killing my right knee. So I have no idea what to do. I have to re-examine this lift.

Maybe lighter squats for reps and heavy GM’s until things feel better? Congrats on the bench PR.

A 380 lb bench is massive. How much do you weigh Scott?

Excellent lifting here Scott.

Looking strong. I hope the hip/knee issue resolves itself soon.

DaCharmingAlbino - I’m really thinking of doing something like this, though I may actually drop the squats and do the GM’s only.

FamerBrett - Thanks. I’m roughly 230lbs right now. A little too heavy for me, as I’m a short fucker.

SteelyD - Thanks brother.

ecogenx - Thanks. I hope so too. However my knee and hip were sore today after deadlifting. But I expected this.
