A new quarter-tonner has joined the ranks! Congratulations!

Nice pull! And a belated welcome… I’m always fashionably late

Where abouts you hangin’ your hat in Ontario?

Thanks. Back for a mini trip to Lake Placid with the family for a hockey tournament for my son.
Ready to get back into it.

Mon Oct 25 (w1/d1)

Chins 12/11/10/10

1 Board Press (paused) 315x5x3
Full Speed Squats (50% - 20 % less than usual) 210x5x3
3 Board Press (paused) 335x2x4 (80%) 345x2x4 (85%)

reverse grip bench 3x10
flyes 3x15

I’ve changed my stance for squatting, moving my legs in closer, shoulder width (hopefully take away the hip pain). So I will play it conservatively (sp?).

I’m always late. 500 is a big milestone. A really big one at this point in life. Back in the day gyms had different “clubs” and TShirts; 300/400/500 Bench, 400/500/600 squat or deadlift. Don’t see them at gyms anymore. Senting you a virtual one.

Never done rack pulls before. Do you find they crossover directly to your conventional deads?

Must be cool to write down an exercise poundage starting with a 6!!!

When I deadlift, I do so sumo style. I find when I do rack pulls, (conv. style), it helps with my sumo deads…because i cannot lift as much. So as I get stronger with a conv. stance , I find my sumo pulling increases.

I also use the rack pulls to get my hands/body used to a heavier weight, than I can pull off of the ground. The 4th hole was above my knee, so it was not much pulling action, but more for the feel of the weight.

…and yes it felt good to get over 6, however i think I mighta had at least 700 in me.

Was he not aware that babies cry? Sometimes seemingly for hours on end? I had one that cried for the first six months of his life. He finally stopped.

Great pulling! Huge numbers!
