Not that I pay much attention to politics, but regarding the referendum
lol!
It’s an odd situation, especially with some friends feeling strongly for independence and others for the union. Too many people are letting their hearts rule their decision rather than their heads.
I, in particular, will be voting no to independence.
Leaving the union - where we have been doing progressively better with more and more devolved power - with such little planning in place is like leaving a 50 grand a year job with health benefits and decent pension with no other job lined up and hoping you just somehow pick up a better one.
Although i’m not saying things could not be better with independence, they sure as fuck could be a lot worse and I do not want to take the risk.
Been lazy and not lifted since benching, dissertation is just draining me. It’s tough to tear ones self away from it when it is so near to submission date.
However, I had a nice day off and played with some birds :). I aim to be squatting on Monday.
Wasn’t feeling great + my asshole was feeling funny, sort of like my innards were wanting to come out.

This does not sound like a good thing. Hope that this resolves itself. Otherwise I would recommend making use of your health care system.
Hopefully you are just suffering from sitting too long working on your dissertation… or else your rectal muscles are just learning to cope with your massive increase in muscle mass.

fml I still have not gotten anywhere with dieting, still sitting at 200lbs and looking blubbery as shit.
Just keep at it till you start dropping nice and slow. To be fair 200lbs is still fuckin big. I mean you’re bigger than me right now :_(

I’m also not saying this to be dramatic, but I honestly feel the past 9 months have gotten me no where.
Training always gets you somewhere, even if it’s not really much stronger or bigger. This is ideally a 20+ year game. No one at the top has ever been without bad workouts, bad weeks, bad months, even bad years. Hell I know of legendary powerlifters who had bad decades.
This is all still valuable to your training experience in the big picture.
