Thanks dude, glad to have you along :).

9/4/2014 Squats

100k x 5 reps
120k x 3 reps
140k x 3 reps
150k x 1 rep
160k x 1 rep

Didn’t have time for anything else, back feels terrible when unracking anything 100k+ but squatting is cool.

Played tennis tonight for my cardio.

It’s a mindfuck considering last time I played was last year when I was 160lbs.[/quote]

So did you feel any different than when you remember playing at 160? Faster, slower, stronger, endurance changes, etc?

By the way, no fair using lbs for body weight and kg for lifting weight. Makes you sound bigger!

I’m excited to see what kind of physique changes your added strength will equate when you’re further into this cut! Doing some great work Rattle, props on balancing what sounds like a stressful load of coursework with your training and of course real life…aka training

Just tougher on my lungs having to move about, also deceleration is an absolute nightmare.

Lol yeah, I use lbs for bodyweight and kg for lifts just because bodyweight can go up or down in the smallest amounts whilst lifting weights jumps are larger.

My schedule is pretty hectic this semester but school isn’t too tough honestly…an hour or two a day and I’m on top of things with my classes. Your classes and projects sound pretty demanding

God yes. It’s why I play rugby, you decelerate by running into other people.

I wish rugby was bigger in this country… makes me a little sad.

I went my whole life not really caring about any sport, until I found rugby and discovered its awesomeness.

Our course lay out is completely insane tbh, dissertation (12,000 words personal research) on top of the mounds of other course work and exams is shitty, I do have adequate time to do it though.

However, I take solace in the fact that the dumplings in my class are leaving all their course work last minute - especially dissertation, where some individuals are still collecting data 17 days from hand in lol - as it means me getting the only first class honours in our year and best dissertation/student of the year is more likely!

The shit thing about rugby for me was I was too small to ever be considered for the team and when I did start putting on weight it was after I broke my leg and had terrible visions of having a stud tear my skin graft apart - injuries can be gruesome, my computing teacher had his eye gouged out in a rugby game lol.

Playing it at school was an absolute nightmare also. We would have to sometimes play rugby out in the pissing rain 1st or 2nd period and have to go to class the rest of the day dirty as showers were not allowed lol.

The whole rugby lad mentality over here is what really puts me off the sport though.

Oh yeah, the whole “Football is a gentleman’s game played by hooligans, and rugby is a hooligan’s game played by gentlemen” has gone to shit. It’s all about mixed sex field hockey or korfball on my course

I remember watching my uncle play when I was a wee lad. As granny would say. I saw this dude almost 300 pounds get his head stepped on in a scrum. He stood up blood pouring out of his head profusely and the referee which was a woman told him there’s not enough time in the game for hist shit and to suck it up lol. They duct taped his head on the side lines and he was back to playing. The team in Highschool tried 2 recruit me but I declined the biggest guy at our school snapped his femur so that was a turn off.

Plus I played contact hockey which has enough brain rattling in it. My bad on the story time rugby’s awesome I think I’ll take it up now that I don’t play any hockey. Rattlehead you look beast
