21/1/2014 Deads (no belt or wraps)
140k x 3 reps
155k x 3 reps
170k x 4 reps (PR) - fuuuck yeh, was good for 5 but left arm was giving out. happy since i’m only weighing 84K/185lbs right now.
Chins
Bodyweight x 6 reps x 5 sets
Fat Grip BBell Curls
20k x 15 reps x 5 sets
I just got some fat grips and I love them, they seem to make curling easier on the elbows somehow. And the pump/mmc and resulting soreness was like nothing I’ve ever had before
They are a handy tool for arm work for sure, I never got anything for triceps out of close grip bench press until I started using them. They are too awkward for my dumbbells though which is a shame.

I’m definitely going to give the close grip bench with fat grips a try as I don’t feel them much in my tri’s either.
Congrats on the recent pb’s. What are your current training goals and how long before the next diet?
Try them with a false grip as well, always gets my tris burning.
Thanks man, currently wanting 140k Bench/180k Squat/90k M Press/220k Dead for this year.
Weight/physique wise be able to get up to 200+ pounds considering i’m incredibly light for my height. I will diet when I get all those goals!

Good to see the PRs are still dropping like flies! How is your uni work going?
Meh, had my last Semester 1 exam on Friday so i’m straight into Semester 2 tomorrow.
I’m unable to perform my research until Mid Feb which is a major kick in the balls cause that will only give me 8 weeks to complete my dissertation with it as well as do other coursework essays.
57.5k x 5 reps
65k x 3 reps
75k x 2 reps (PR) - could have got 3 but saved energy for the bonus
BONUS
80k x 1 rep (PR) - finally.felt good. 4kg off a bodyweight press.

Congrats. You made that look pretty easy.
Thank it wasn’t too bad, hows training going with you man?
It’s been ok. The last two and a half months have been a bit crazy due to travel and weather, so I haven’t been in a good groove during that time. But most of that ended a couple days ago and I’m looking forward to some consistency again. The weather’s still cold (it was -25C last night, actual temperature) but I’m no longer stuck at home due to the roads.
I have been making noticeable visual progress though.
So yeah. It’s been ok, and should be really good soon. Looking forward to setting several PRs in Incline, Squats and DLs over the next few months. I’m moving my focus a bit more toward numbers for a bit too.
140k x 5 reps
160k x 3 reps
180k x 3 reps (PR) - felt good
190k x 1 rep (PR) - again, felt good
200k x 0 rep - failed just above the knees, didn’t give it a second try.
Vids will come later tonight or tomorrow of the final 3 sets, friend filmed it and has to do it through his computer.
With how 190 felt as well as how even 200 felt in my hands I can definitely do this, even without a belt. Will be smoking in next cycle.
You’re safe for now Straps Mcghey (Maazer), I shall still prevail and be the first to win the race to our agreed terms!

Sucks about the weather, luckily Scotland has had a fairly mild winter (in the west anyway) so my garage has been warm enough.
Good to here about the visual gains and glad about the incline. I love incline so much, it just feels right whilst flat just feels like a total and absolute grind.
Approach looks alright in that article, being boring with food has helped me with eating the most. Like literally eating the same thing day in day out at the same times. Food is most often as neutral tasting as possible to ensure I dont get sick of a strong taste.
Speaking of weight gain and shit I weighed myself this morning and somehow im 198lbs? Fuck knows how that happened considering I was 185/6 10ish days ago and I have not been binging or overeating. Gaintrain.
