Well if you’re going for it beltless as well…

I’m not liking wearing a belt for deads right now, over the past few cycles where I have considered using it I always feel like my ribs are getting crushed upwards and it just puts me off from the pull.

Extra: Touch and go has been amazing, really has been keeping my lower back relatively pain free.

Approach looks alright in that article, being boring with food has helped me with eating the most. Like literally eating the same thing day in day out at the same times. Food is most often as neutral tasting as possible to ensure I dont get sick of a strong taste.

Speaking of weight gain and shit I weighed myself this morning and somehow im 198lbs? Fuck knows how that happened considering I was 185/6 10ish days ago and I have not been binging or overeating. Gaintrain.

What are you eating these days anyway? Did you post that and I miss it somewhere?

All awesome

30/1/2014 Special Day

Today marks the first day in my life I weighed 200lbs (AM after piss/shit before food).

I know it’s nothing really in the grand scheme but still a touching moment for someone who started at 136-138lbs.

Benching laters.

150g oats, 3 scoops of protein
2 scoops of whey, 2 scoops of maltrodextrin

30/1/2014 Bench Press

Goooood shit. Doing high rep gym rat chest day tomorrow cause I ran out of time.

90k x 5 reps
105k x 3 reps
115k x 3 reps (PR) - Felt great.
122.5k x 1 rep (PR) - Felt Awesome, so fast.
125k x 1 rep (PR) - Awwww yeh, 130k will be mine soon.

Such a strange mix of music.

How do you prepare your rice and oats? When I cook rice it takes at least 30 minutes, not including cleanup.

Lol, different music for different stuff. Classic music like Chopin just gets me really calm and focused.

For the rice I boil the kettle of water, 4 scoops in the pan with boiled water, high heat for 10-15 mins. For oats I just put enough water in to ensure its a paste (when it’s too watery I want to slit my wrists) and just cook in the micorwave for 3 mins.

Well I feel a bit dumb. I was trying to place the piece, and wasn’t sure if it was Chopin or Beethoven.

I actually performed that piece for a recital once, so you think I’d know better.

Don’t feel bad man, the only reason I discovered the piece is because it was in Prometheus lol.

Well, in that case, here’s something similar you may like. A bit more complex/emotional.

Definitely makes it more interesting when you realize he wrote it when he was only 15 years old.

Ha, nice.

Awesome deadlift Rattle! Made that look easy, and puts my strapped, belted deadlift to shame  Lol, keep up the good work man

Thanks man but you’ve still got a good 30k on me! Funny thing with straps and belt is they probably don’t even make a significant difference, but with me they just add an extra stressor that I have to concern myself with before the lift lol.

I’m afraid not… I don’t watch many TV shows, I started Breaking Bad a year and a half ago and just finished season 4 lol.

I’d completely missed this. Congratulations.

Someday I’ll get there too.

How long did it take you?
