The only Jeff Willet thread on here was a debate of some sort, not an actual ispiration thread. He’s my favorite bodybuilder of all time, even moreso because he’s a natural bodybuilder. Heres some goiod shots (Some from other threads)
Mr Team Universe 03
Yah he’s incredible. Competed at nearly the same weight for like 8 years or something, just kept coming in sharper and sharper until he snagged his IFBB pro card. True baller.
EDIT: You should look up the documentary “I want to look like that guy! (In the fitness Ad)”. I believe that is the title, I watched it about a week ago. Basically, a fat/out of shape videographer wants to look like the guy in the fitness ad’s (Jeff Willet) and he actually works with Jeff to gain muscle/lose fat and do a bodybuilding show. Made a pretty incredible transformation. Cool little movie.
Easy Dips - seen him do em with 150 lb DB

198 lbs INSANE CONDITIONING
on stage at 198 lbs
off season, 223-227 lbs
He competed for a long time, finally got his IFBB PRO Card in 03. Since then, he has retired from full time competition, but still guest poses here and there.
I’d basically love to acheive what he has naturally, and I think a lot of us would aspire to do the same.

I thought he looked really familiar… I was wondering where I had just seen him. I havent seen the whole documentary just the 3 minute preview on youtube… looks pretty cool except it seems like the main guy was just complaining about how terrible it was the whole time? (maybe that was just the editing)
.greg.
And the cool thing is that Jeff’s a real knowledgeable guy (if you’ve ever heard him talk training/nutrition).

The guy acts like a bitch quite a bit, he even cries at some points lol. However, he went from pretty much never working out to dieting for 26 weeks so I can understand it.
yeah i have that DVD too. I havent been near crying or anything, but i do admit that working a physical job at 1700 cals/day is draining and does get you moody as hell.
he knows his shit thats for sure though, and he’s still massive!
Good thread. i believe i started the other one, and everyone started bitching. He is awesome. Period.
Great thread, the guy inspires me so much it’s ridiculous
I’m a big Jeff Willet fan and recently invested in his training DVDs along with Skip La Cour’s dvds. I’m currently training Max-OT style 2 weeks out from my first show in an attempt to hold on to what muscle i have left lol. While Jeff’s DVDs aren’t that informative and are geared more towards the beginner, its awesome to see him train 2 weeks out from the USA’s in 2003.
