Is This Overtraining?

I’m new and I hope this is the right place to post this. I saw this today:

To me this seems a little too good to be true, and might just be overtraining, but if it actually works that would be pretty nice. What do you think? Has anyone done something like this and did it help to add any size?

Thanks.

Mike

i’ve heard about it from a few people, and a couple said it kindda worked but the gains weren’t permanent (arms staying pumped and swolen for a few days)…personally, spending the whole day in the gym is not too appealing to me…and if i really want an inch, it might take me more than a day, but i’m gonna get it…

Why don’t you try it for us and see what happens?

About 10 years ago, I had a real boring job, so I decided to do pushups every hour on the hour. I also did crunches and practiced high kicks and side sicks.

Two things: 1) Yes, there was growth from the pushups and crunches and my kicks were higher and much snappier;
2) Yes, it lead to overtraining.

The main difference between what I did and what he recommends is that I did mine everyday. He is working his arms out once in 9 days: rest 4 days, workout 1 day and recover 4 days.

If I were you, I would do Darden’s 2 week arm challenge; it seems like a much healthier way to go, plus you get to workout the rest of your body, as well.
