I read it was meant as a test, not as an “actual” workout. So it’s like "can you do this? if you can, you are strong’.
Gym Jones needs to rename it the “300 Test” because as was said too many times to count, it’s simple a bitchin’ test before and after the workout.
The REAL 300 “workout” was surprisingly NOT a workout. Every day was a different exercise. The “workout” that the actors did was an offshoot of CrossFit, which is basically do a different ridiculous exercise every day.
The point being that your body will never adapt, and you will grow…but I’ve never seen pictures of a massive “CrossFitter”, and probably (…definitely) never will.
100 pulls and 100 dips is largly considered a good workout

while i know how hard a set of pulls/dips are (weighted or not)
the intensity of doing 100 of each in X time - i would have no idea unless i tried it
There is a workout and then the 300 test, you do the workout and then you do the test for time. I do the work out after I lift as sort of a cardio kick.
hehe. i’ve tried out this workout for a week now:p (so 3 times). and all i found was that it works as an excellent addition for my work. i’m a carpenter so there is alot of physical work @ work. suits me fine but i won’t do it more than another 3 weeks. but since i’m a lazy runner i figured it might help my stamnina atleast.
normally going for a “base-lift” workout with some isolation excercises just to sweat a bit more.
