Hi Nikki - bench like most major lifts is form and head games. Leg drive, back arch and push the fucker up. Also many hours of builing chest, back and arms. Eat and press. That’s the prescription. Get a spotter to unrack the bar - You can usually get an extra rep in that way…
Babysitting was fun - I have more confidence and she has more patience with Auntie who very rarely changes diapers and usually finds a way to put them on backwards.lol
Saturday I left the house around 11:00am and headed for Chinatown where I walked the neighborhood and practiced with the piktures. Had some bubble tea and a Vietnamese BBQ pork bun for lunch. mmmmm. On my way back home I took more pictures around my neighborhooda and got back around 3pm. All that walking with my camelpack and camera stuff was exercise. because I say so dammit. lol. The quads still felt stiff from Friday’s workout.

That was just some Me time. Being creative, walking outside and enjoying the sunshine. The pictures turned out pretty good so I might use them in a futur project.
Congrats on the squat PR. That’s great work. I also love the food pictures. It reminds me of last nights super delicious dinner involving sirloin and goat cheese.
Our weather has cooled off to bearable. I hope yours has too.
yup- wouldn’t have walked outside for 3 hours in 40 degree celcius weather. It’s still summer warm but bearable around 29 plus humidex which brings it to 35. I can deal with that with plenty of water and shade.
