Lovely pics! Looks like fun.
thanks MIM and Cal - we’re in the middle of a heat wave right now. 3 days straight of 35 degrees celcius plus humidex which is nasty. Even in the early morning we are keeping the windows closed. That’s pretty bad.
Nice. I love the Holga-esque processing on some of those. Always love to see Montreal!

Since you were nice enough to come over to the wrong side of the tracks, thought I would do the same. Great pics & awesome training.
I kinda like it in here. Mind if I stay awhile?
Thanks Kimba- the tint’s, focuses and frames are all effects added by the photoscape program - anyone can do it really. I was trying to get a vintage cinema feel to them like dirty drama. Next step will be learning to take raw pictures with my digital. I’m still taking them all on automatic. One step at a time.
Welcome Print and thanks for the compliments regarding my workouts and pics. I see you can be somewhat civilized
teasin. Your welcome as long as you keep the “sama comments” in the sama zoo.
puts water and dry food
stick around as long as you like doggy.
ya, someone turned the heat back on here too…100+ temps plus humidity makes for days in the pool the best place to be!

totally, I was supposed to hit the gym but my bro invited me to his place for some pool and BBQ time after work. I have my priorities straight considering we only have 3 month of summer around here. Tomorrow is another day.
BBQ beats workout haha
no workout today: Pedicure trumps workout. I’ll be going tomorrow gang so don’t bail out on me. I’ll be posting pics of said pedi later tonight. For now I’ll give you a sneak preview of the next article I’m working on: recipes inspired by the farmer’s market.
For those in the know the pics were taken at the Atwater market
…
Beautiful pics!! Yes, pool and pedi does beat training!
Mmm…eggplant. If you eat greek yogurt, get some garlic, parsely (cilantro too if you like), mince it up and add to yogurt with lemon juice, salt and pepper. This is a classic middle eastern sauce that is good on roasted vegetables, but happens to be very complimentary with eggplant. I eat it just about every night.
Your markets pics are great. They have made me want to add the need of a salad to my sandwich.
Tomorrow I am getting a pedicure instead of working out also ![]()
Loved Atwater Market! That baked goods pic has me salivating. They are my weakness.
