It def flatters my ego. I did more than 1 but less than 2. so there. ok yes I’m being childish but my progress on these are amazingly slow.

I like how you count the .5 pullup. :)[/quote]
Me too! I don’t care what anyone says, just getting half way there is hard work!
nlmain, you are rockin it!
Did I read rabbit stew? That sounds delicious!
The .5s totally count on the pullups!
Masch: my rabbit stew for easter was mmmmmmtastic.
For those who care to know-
Lapin Provencal
-Brown bacon in a little oil to release the fats. Remove bacon when crispy.
-Brown rabbit for 7 minutes on both sides (I buy mine in portions - just ask your butcher the hind legs are the best part).
-Place a generous amout of fresh rosemary in a dish that goes in the oven (lasagna dish works)
-top with browned bacon and rabbit
-give the rabbit a good dose of salt and pepper
-Turn the heat down in the frying pan, add 4-5 diced italien tomatoes, good quality pitted olives, thinly sliced celery - 2 branches, 3 cloves of garlic and an onion. Fry for 5 minutes.
-Douse the veggies with a generous splash of white wine (maybe a cup)
-heat through for another 3-5 minutes
-Pour mixture over waiting rabbit
-make sure there is enough liquid at the bottom of the dish - about half an inch up at least. If not ad more wine directly.
-bake in oven 350 for half an hour.
- Serve with roasted baby potatoes and carrots, or some squash.
Bonne appetit!

That dish sounds amazing. I’d have to pretend it’s something other than rabbit though. I used to have a pet rabbit, until she was eaten by something (I’m thinking a raccoon) one summer night.
Mmmm. Rabbit. Cute and delicious.
Nlmain you are looking amazing. Awesome progress! That bikini is hot and adorable all at once. I am a recent pack a day smoker myself. I quit in October 2008, and I’m amazed that after training and eating right I feel as if I haven’t smoked a single cigarette in my life (I hope my insides are on the same page as me). Good work on your PRs. Matching your old bench numbers minus 20lbs on your frame is something to be damn proud of.
Maybe RBlue’s rabbit was eated by nlmain’s stewpot.

Qui moi? I resent that Snap.
Kimba & Blue: I Just thought rabbit for easter was thematic and fitting. Beats stuffing my face with cadburry mini eggs.
Thanks for the thumbs up Owlie and way to go on kicking bad habits. My family all smoke and once in a blue moon I’ll pick one up but I lost the taste for em which is good news. I usually have a draw or two and chuck it. Now if only I could squat like you I’d be set for life.

Right on! And your squatting ain’t so bad sista, so you’re pretty much set ![]()
Just saying hi!!
I’m an ex-smoker myself…smoked WAY TOO MUCH while in the Navy and started much too young…
Ahh, I’m making people mad. Certainly didn’t intend to.
I tried cooking rabbit - it tasted a bit like old socks. Does your dish negate that unpleasantness?

Me, you’re only making sad… ![]()
I’m pro-rabbit.
Also, on bad food, I have hardly any bad reaction if it’s only a little. Large quantities of starch (pizza or whatever) do make me feel a little sick and weak these days.
I actually really hate having a “virtuous” attitude about food; good food is an art. I can skip the carrot cake, in the interest of not becoming a landwhale, but I’m not going to bad-mouth the stuff. It is good. Clean eating is a vanity thing for me, and to some extent an energy/performance thing. It doesn’t negate my foodie heritage.

Not mad at all Snap! - stupid internet didn’t make my joke turn out the way I wanted. I was trying to be funny without the usual :), or teasin, or haha, hence the pic. But it fell through. My bad.
spent the weekend helpin family move - hence no workout but hitting the gym demain AND I got my chalk. Never though I’d get so excited about powedered white stuff. Can’t wait to try it out. My deads should be like 500lbs right?
With the chalk, you should be pulling, like, 1000 lb.

That’s for sure. Get right on that. ![]()
