Taped critical area on hands with medical tape to keep my skin from tearing again. It worked. Thanks everyone for the suggestion. Now I’m waiting for my magical lifting chalk.

Skipped cardio tonight. Supper: chicken breast covered in fresh salsa baked in oven for 30 minutes with a big portion of sweet potatoes. - hopefully these clean carbs will transelate in more happy muscle tommorow.
CONGRATS ON THE PR, bitch! and plz, come make me dinner. k thx.
MRSa-- i was the only one in my medical terminology class who knew what it stood for, and could spell it. yeah, sounds awesome, till i tell you ive been working in a pharmacy since i was 16.
nlmain, dear, the antibacterial gel is well meant, im sure, but you’re doing more harm than good. cover open wounds, wash before you leave, dont touch your eyes, ears, nose, or mouth while youre there.
snap- glad they caught it before it was your hand, and not just your little finger!

Supper will cost ya half my plane ticktet sweetheart, but I would make sure you had your money’s worth of french talent
message clear on the hygiene course Cbear - actually I do all those things religiously but I couldn’t figure out how to deal with the the bobos that kept occuring once I lifted a couple of heavy reps (bandaids kept slipping, gloves are a no-no and not lifting heavy is not an option). Some solid medical tape did the trick and I came back home with a deads PR and no extra wounds. The old ones are well on their way to healing. I will simply keep taping them.

Excellent work on the PR!! And yes, you can clam that as yours. Ha!
Open hand sores? gulp Yeah, listen to the bear. MRSA is no bueno.
wounds and open sores = blisters that keep occuring and ripping when I lifted heavy (deads & rackpulls). Eventually I’ll own a nice set of calluses but shit I’ve been lifing again since october… anyways the tape did help and the chalk is on it’s way.
Blue & Kimba: I know you 2 aren’t that far away so if you ever decide to drop by for some food and wine it would be an honor to feed you We could pretend to lift beforehand to justify the calories.

mmmmmmmmm…sweet potatoes. those are magical. yeah for your PR dance. 115 is mighty impressive, as is your DL PR of course.
thanks for sharing your eats!
not as magical as your ass T! - thanks for your support, I love food (as in good food. no fast food) And eating to satisfaction while lifting and looking good is a challenge. But for those who care I am seeing the slightest shading of my third abs- something I have never seen before in my life and that has made me happy this week.
“Hello ab, I’m your owner”
“I have an owner? why haven’t I seen you before? This sounds fishy.”

I hope you don’t regret that offer. My eating skills are strong.
hooooray for your new ownership…that is fantastic!!! i care very much…i’m happy someone is getting results. yes-the love of food and cooking it might be the biggest factor in my commitment to working out all these years. eat.work out. eat…workout…you know how it goes.
thanks for the magical ass comment- you guys are too kind. although that ego stroking is needed atm, i’m feeling sorreh for mahself…boo hoo. oh, sorry-this is your journal…haaaaa!
i’m not one to usually call out for progress pics, but you might inspire some of us if you did! no pressure…

First I get called out by Kimba for vids - I kicked my own ego and even show you some bad form ones. Now T you need progress pics! you guys are a tough crowd. However I will need a little time to prep as I do not have your fab ass and tat to show off nor a professional photographer and hot boodeh to make it all palatable. I was thinking of using the virtues of natural afternoon light like others including Alisa and Cbear have done in the Vixen but as I live in a condo complex with a view on the interior court yard…well I’d be making too many neighbors happy… or not.
let me marinate in this one T- i’ll try to come up with something fun and uh legal.
DB shoulder press
35lbs
3x5, 1x4 - just couldn’t hit the 5th rep.
stiff-leg deadlift
60lbs 3x12
superset with DB bicep curls
20lbs 3 x10
declined crunches
3x12
reverse flies
12lbs 1x8
10lbs 2x8
I hate these because I use puny weights. It’s healthy to keep that ego in check though. I’m thinking of doing them more often. It’s a good rule of thumb to keep doin what your not so good at.
BB row
50lbs 3x12
last reps of last set were rough.
Skipped cardio cause the husband had plans for the evening. We went to see the “Home Show”, a convention where tones of tradespeople have booths on everything concerning home care and renovations. We were only looking for counter top ideas but it was nice to browse. We finished with supper at the Beaver Hall that was a few blocks away from the convention center. It was okay, not sure if I would recomend the place. They kinda play it safe. Food is okay of not very inspired.
anywho time to hit the gym. I’ll try to put together a decent squat vid to show off some progress.
Eh, don’t worry about having a super arse. I have the arse of someone who has been sitting in front of a computer for 20+ years, but if I want to get a photo, it’s not too hard to find a more flattering angle.
