[quote]I m a level 2 PICP
you ll get programming techniques out of the manual but you will not get everything.
there is alot to learn from the internships.

Oh I know you get much more by actually going to a seminar than just looking thorugh a manual. I’m just not sure I want to spend that much money to learn how one guy does it.
I know he is very famous and has worked with alot of athletes, but there are so many people out there who you’ve never even heard of that are just as good and use different methods.
I just want perspective…I am not interested in implementing CP’s model…I’m interested in developing my own. If I can do that without paying thousands of dollars at a time…great.
Please dont take this reply as me dogging CP or anyone else…I very much respect everything he has done for the field.

Interesting Niall. I’ve got the manual for the level 1 PICP sitting in front of me and I’m considering it just because Poliquin is the dog’s dibbly bits. Are you considering going further with PICP ??

i ll prob do the level 3 next year if i can afford it and if i can find th right uses for it.
theres some other people and courses i would like to do.
next for me is the biosignature thats a priority for me.
the level 2 manual is pretty big and a bit more difficult than the level 1.
if you are going to do a level 1 wait for a 5 day seminar and not the 3day seminar.you will get more out of it
Just want to wish GoudyUrsus good luck at the powerlifting meet on Saturday (he’s only doing the bench). My future sister in-law, Rachel, will also be competing as a junior and looking to break more records (she’s going for all 3 and hopefully an impressive total). Just noticed she’s got 45000 hits in youtube for this deadlift effort…
A few of the T-Nation members will be there to cheer them on…
Starts around 12.30 on Saturday and we’ll post relevant results here on Saturday night
Couple of special mentions need to go out for some outstanding performances
Rachel - 55k bw @22 years old
Bench 57.5 - European record
Ryan - 96.4 bw (Ryan is only 19)
Bench 167.5 World record
Stuart - 60 k
185 Deadlift
To see Stuart deadlifting over 3 times his bw was probably the most impressive thing I’ve seen for a while.
One guy did a 212.5 bench RAW and another did 240 with shirt.
I also think Ben Loughrey should get a big mention for single handedly organising the event. He seemed to be under some serious pressure and couldn’t compete due to the various responsibilities.
All in all a very good day. No drink consumed afterwards but maybe next time ;o)

Hi ayalgues.
Don’t know if the question is directed at me but, if it is, I’m not from Cork. However I know at least 2 of the guys on the list are from there. Don’t know if they know Fitton gym though.
Guys… Can anyone help this fellow Irish T-nationer out??
