^^ I have read Serotonin can be blunted if we don’t enter a “relaxed” phase. So lets say in this instance we eat carbs, fire our insulin and then engage in Intense physical activity the Serotonin may be blunted.

That is true, I recall carbohydrates spiking Insulin (and vasodilation) and according to this serotonin will do the opposite (vasoconstriction), however whenever I have carbs my veins surface, indicative of vasodilation (amongst other things). I have seen others with this same effect.
I think the insulin would be much more powerful in this regard. The pump is also much more noticeable with the presence of carbohydrates.
I agree. By the time I’m in the gym, warming-up, psyching myself to the session, doing ramping sets, etc etc, I’m in the zone and I think any actions of serotonin is negligible at that point.
Regardless, “good” is not the same as “not bad.” I’m sure someone notable on this site gave a “sciency” reason why we should make the shift to pre-workout carbs. It couldn’t have just been, “Well, it works, so do it.”
Whoa, too many quotes in this post.
