not an wrestler. was a for fun thing.
now my forearm hurts like shit. over a week now. mostly forearm starting at elbow upper side radiating down to wrist.
biceps curls and chest press make it much worse (although not immediately, hours later)
I assume I have to stop those exercises, but not sure if I can do anything with arms TBH.
wasn’t training on weekend and had nearly no pain on monday AM. went to gym and back to shit, so i probably re-injured it.
getting an x-ray although this won’t probably show much.
any ideas if I can do anything upper body, maybe back etc.
Had the same thing after a few drinks one night, never arm wrestle now because of how it screwed my workouts for a couple of weeks! Pissed me right off.
Try a good warmup then get into some serious upper body stretching instead of a heavy workout. Having a deloading week never hurts anyone if you focus on rehab for a injury. I do have a good sports massage guy I saw as well but it still took me a good 2 weeks for the pain to go away and I was able to get back into workouts properly. If you think about it, its a shitload of torque through your forearm, bicep, shoulder and chest at your maximal effort, no wonder something gets hurt if you do something like that with no warm up.
If you’re getting an X-Ray, I’d wait so see what that shows. If you strained a pec that will give you different constraints than a radial spiral fracture.
Super-clinical experience: my son fractured his wrist riding (well, falling off) his bike. I thought it was sprained and movement would help. Whoops.
thank you all. waiting on x-ray results. did legs today.
also started BPC-157 injections around the area 4x 0.05cc around the arm (4x50mcg)
this is probably the best thing you can do for recovery (other then some DMSO)
Keep us posted! I’ve read a lot of anecdote about BPC, but don’t know much about it
ok, on day 3 of 1xday bpc157 injections. this might be a coincidence not sure.
but yesterday I had awful pain and today pain is close to zero.
first day I am off all NSAID’s. went to the gym and pushed back/triceps hard this AM. no pain so far. i feel a mild itching where there was pain, i think this is a sign of healing
BPC157 is definitely to have something in your stack. A lot of people reporting similar exp so i think there is something to it.
