Initial Body Measurements....?

So before switching to a new program on Monday, I want to take some initial measurements so I can measure the effectiveness as accurately as possible. I don’t have time, or as a college student, money to get a bf test done. What are some key areas I should measure?

I figure I would need to know calf circumference, Thigh circumference, waistline, maybe upper chest (outside or inside of arms???) bicep and forearm at the elbow. Anything else anyone can think of???

Forearm should be measured at the the thickest part which should not be your elbow, you may want to measure hips and shoulders, even the neck if you wanted to.

well not AT the elbow - about 1.5" above the elbow moving towards the hand.

With measuring shoulders whats the typical locating? about halfway down the side of the delts? and go circumference across the back or just a straight measurement along the front or the back?

These are the only measurements I keep track of with some kind of regularity:

Arms: circumference at the widest point (bicep peak)
Chest: circumference all the way around at nipple level.
Waist: circumference around naval.
Thighs: circ. around thickest point.
Calves: same

Bodyfat percentage is never exact and doesn’t actually matter at all. You can tell if you’re losing definition or gaining definition and if your waist is getting bigger.

I do the same as Mr Pop
