Before the time change I had plenty of time for the “Running Man” program. Now that time has changed, it’s dark by the time my wife gets home to watch the kids (2 and 4). What if I did a circuit type cardio session consisting of body weight exercises like squats, pull-ups, pushups, sit-ups, chins, etc. When the weather is nice, I can take the kids outside and so some sled dragging or other type active recovery type exercises. I don’t use a commercial gym, and there are no lighted tracks around. Anyone have an opinion or suggestion? Sounds like a good article idea to me, “Equipment-less Cardio in a Confined Space”.
jump rope
Great idea. I too am very interested in ideas about this. Something I was thinking about was doing standing barbell curls with a medium weight and just doing as many as I can as fast as I can in 10 minutes (I don’t do curls now). Also I don’t like to work my legs with lighter weights because I don’t want to work my endurance fibers in my legs since I am trying to increase my vertical.
I wouldn’t want to curl for 10 minutes because that would be like running a marathon for your biceps. I like “The Running Man” because it was designed to burn excess while conserving muscle. I’d like to do the same, so maybe I could do short periods fast pace exercise followed by moderate pace, and alternate like you do the sprints? Maybe if enough people show interest, someone at t-mag will design a program.

Try CW’s GPP
"Squat Thrusts, Light Waterbuy Walks, Medicine Ball throws (forward and backward)
Perform these four exercises in a continous circuit for 10 minutes, intially. Work up to 15 minutes of continuous work. It’s pretty brutal."
I agree with Rank’s suggestion. Very brutal in beginning! Those Waterbury Walks are killer.
Thanks for the GPP suggestions.
