In-season football training

Hey everybody. this week marked the beginning of summer football practice, and hence the start of football season. I’ve been working out 4 days per week with high intensity with great gains, but I know I cannot do that during the season, especially not summer practice, so what would you recommend(Coach Davies perhaps) for in-season training program? Thanks a million.

Will - this being addressed in a future article. Before every opinion (including mine) of proper football training occurs, please be aware in-season is not the time to start something completely new. When you noted " working out with high intensity" I am unclear if you meant the quality of your training sessions or methodology. If you describe what you have been doing, I might be able to help in putting something together for yourself that will assist your performance. One other point, should be stated and while it is obvious I feel it needs to addressed - your focus with in-season training work, is to prepare yourself for game-time, this week and the last week of the season.
