In Season Football Program

Anyone have any really well put together in season football programs. I would like to compare it to my current program and see if there are any kinks. Also, what do you guys think about sprint/plyo training in season? How much is too much in your opinion?

When you are in season, running and sprinting should be a part of your practice which is specific to your sport. Too many know it all football coaches will just have you run for no reason. Remember that nothing is more important inseason than your practice and games.

If your coaches dont do this, then I am sorry.

What position do you play?

Joe DeFranco has a good one listed in his Q&A section on his site.

He has them train the day after the game (Sun) and one additional day (Wed) during the season to keep size and strength.

You should check out the articles section of Elite Fitness Systems, Jim Wendler who was a strength coach at the University of Kentucky has written several good articles on the subject, he is also an elite lifter and a former college player, so he would be a good person to consult.
