You realize X whines, complains and gets personal like “some chick” all the time right? You can’t tell me you haven’t noticed that.
Jesus Christ.
X is big and knowledgeable. Everyone on the internet is a douchebag (myself included,) and that’s just real talk, so I don’t see why anything else besides knowledge about lifting weights would be important on a bodybuilding forum.
This thread is retarded.

Not at 5% bodyfat… ; )
I’ve yet to see a natural BB at 220 (or more as you say) lbs onstage, much less 220 of purely LBM.
I never stated there were natural bodybuilders who competed with 220+ lbs of LBM. Learn to read.
Someone said "There has never been a natural lifter with more than 220 or so pounds of LBM. "
Thats what im calling bullshit on. Are you telling me there has never been a natural powerlifter with 220 lbs of LBM? If you take a natural 315 lb lifter with 30% Bodyfat, they are sitting at over 220 lbs of LBM.
Natural lifter means a different thing than competing bodybuilder… jesus christ.

I assume this is directed squarely at PX.
Its addressed to the entire fucking board. The forums are now 75% personal sniping. Its getting unreadable and has run off a TON of great posters over the years.

Not just that, they’ve been doing this for months. These are the same guys who tried to say that thread about Paco Bautista was somehow racist against white guys. These are the same guys (Bonez in particular) who got mad when I accidentally mis-spelled Branch Warren’s name first name last, apologized for it(you know, for those who keep claiming I NEVER say I make a mistake about anything as if they are running around claiming how wrong they are) and they still tried to act like I mis-spelled his name to be racist against the man.
I don’t know if it is projection or what, but I see Waylander and pals bringing up race more than anyone else here yet blaming the action on me. Maybe people are dumb enough to go along with that…but I would hope most aren’t.
The only people who brought up race in this thread was them…and yet again, it is written as if I did it somehow. This shit is retarded but people allowed them to fuck up the forum with this shit.
Great, they have a facebook group…where all of the people wear the same shirt and then run over here to act like asses I guess.

You know that you’re a part of this bullshit too, right? You are just as responsible as anyone else is for all of the shit that gets thrown back and forth at you. You know this right? It’s not like people on this forum just chose you to bitch at for no reason. And yes me making this stupid comment is all a part of the ridiculous shit that has been going on here for the past few months, or should i say years?

You see, that is where you and everyone else fucked up. If I was the cause of this, then me leaving for two months would have ended it. It didn’t end at all. Instead, they kept making threads just to drag this shit out even longer.
Yeah, you pretty much lost the ability to blame this type of reaction on me simply because you couldn’t shut up about me.
Congrats.

and we have pie too
I wonder of they have shit like this on bodybuilding.com or if they all get on famously?
do you people realize that this is JUST A FUCKING FORUM where everyone should care ONLY about bodybuilding. And you people made some kind of personal drama from simple shit like forum. Look at X’s new pic - he is a monster - and in BB forum this SHOULD be an important thing, that’s all what I care about.
If you people would just call bullshit ONCE, then go about your day, this forum would do fine. Instead you bitch back and forth for months on end ![]()
I can’t believe I’m actually going to even comment here,… I’ve been reading along with all the various threads during PX’s “absence”, and as I typically do, decided not to get involved in any of the non-bodybuilding/nutritional/more-social discussion/arguments. But this has just gotten so far off base that it’s ridiculous.
I’ve been on T-Nation since it first went up, and during that time I’ve gone from being a lurker just trying to learn by hearing what other trainers do, to being an ocassional poster offering my personal opinions, to eventually being one of the guys actually starting threads and answering tons of PMs with questions from other members each week. While there are always different personalities on any type of community forum, some people will always seem to rub others the wrong way.
This is just the nature of human beings, we can’t all get along… BUT, obviously the focus of ‘discussions’ in various threads have gone well beyond the actual intended topics. Sure I’ll participate in threads where people are in disagreement with me, but at some point, even if you can’t convince someone that they may be incorrect, you have to just leave it alone.
There are way too many people on here that have let PX’s nature of expressing himself, whether he naturally behaves in a sometimes abrasive manner, or simply has gotten a little jaded after so many years of coddling newbies with no knowledge asking the same questions over and over, interfere the the actual reason we come on here in the first place. I’ve personally had many friends over the years who are ‘rough around the edges’, and not usually quick to make new friends, so I guess I’m one of the people who just took X’s attitude in stride.
I’ve always felt a comraderie with this forum, and that’s despite the little bickering and arguing that will always go on, but this is just really out of hand at this point.
That’s it from me,… you guys can go back to arguing now.

Did I get nasty with you dude? No, I did not. So afford me the same courtesy unless you absolutely lack the breeding to do so.
No reason to be a smart-ass. I can read just fine, thank you.

Where do you lift, planet fitness? Walk into any college gym and you can find former highschool lineman putting big numbers up at big weights while staying natural.
-
Has used prohormones/designer steroids =/= Natural. Professor X has posted in the past that he has used the OLD MAG-10, which was a steroid.
-
There has never been a natural (who was actually natural) competitive bodybuilder with 220 lbs of LBM at a low bodyfat and average height. NEVER. You can throw up as many pictures of 300 lb football players with 20%+ bodyfat as you like. It’s totally irrelevant to the amount of LBM they would carry if they bothered to get lean and didn’t use drugs to spare the LBM.
-
You can talk all you want about how much LBM you think you’re carrying based off of how much bodyfat you think you have. The reality is that you are probably overestimating the amount of fat you would have to lose to be lean and you are probably underestimating the amount of LBM that would be lost with that fat dieting without drugs. It’s pretty easy to be 30%+ bf and rationalize your way to thinking that you’re only 18-20%. It’s hard to admit that 50+ lbs of that weight you worked so hard to put on is fat.
-
You can keep pumping yourself and others up with inflated dreams about how if they work hard, take their vitamins, and say their prayers, they can have pro/top amateur level size and leanness without drugs. Keep lying to yourself, because it’s not going to happen. Why do you think Professor X has never made it through one of this many attempts at dieting? Truth is that most people have no concept of how ENORMOUS 210+ lbs of (in shape) stage weight is for a person of normal height because they’re the biggest person in their gym and have never really been around lean individuals who are that large, just like they think every giant lean dude that they come across claiming to be natural is telling the truth because they’ve never been around that same kind of person when they talk about how much shit they’re ACTUALLY using.
I’m posting a picture of the HW class from last year’s Nationals. All of these guys weigh BELOW 225 lbs on stage. That means in terms of LBM, they’re around 215-220 lbs LBM. I will put as much money as you would like on NONE of them being natural.
Ask any legitimately big guy with low bodyfat. They understand both what it takes to put that kind of size on, AND what taking the fat off actually entails, with and without drugs. Someone like Professor X isn’t going to have an understanding of what dieting down from 270+ lbs really means because he’s never done it himself. I’m sure Waylander could provide more insight on this than most.
Wonderful post Stronghold, thank you. This should be stickied for the delusional ‘‘everything is possible without steroids’’ crowd.
I said almost the same thing in another thread few days ago.(of course my english is not that good.)
Solid amateurs start cutting from 100+ kgs, just to end up at 80- kg on stage. With steroids of course.
Now ,imagine how much weight and muscle would prof x lose if he tried to get into contest shape naturally. He knows that and that’s why he and many of his followers are on ‘‘Lifetime bulk’’.
When I see a guy who is 15+ BF% natural ,and is still bulking ,I give him one great advice- start cutting NOW.
Oh,and 495 incline bench statement is bullshit.
Double win/wammy!
Now this thread has arguing about who’s natural and who takes creatinz AND whether X is in the right on wrongz!
I think it’s an age thing. I don’t recall seeing any of us older posters getting all bent outta shape over X’s online persona.
These young guys seem to have the most fragile egos, and as is the case, issues get twisted and blame gets tossed on the wrong guy.
Yeah, I’ve argued with X over some things. But they were the issues at hand. I wasn’t pulling race cards or some other bullshit that detracted from said issues, and then when I realized it was a stalemate, I moved the fuck on. And the times when X insulted me with name-calling were the times I was clearly the lunkhead about something.
Take a side, take up the issue, argue it fully, assess the situation, and move the fuck on.
I can’t carry a grudge while I’m deadlifting anyway.

I don’t even make a habit of throwing out insults for no reason. I told Nards his quads were average because they are. I didn’t call him a name over it. I stated an opinion based on what is considered developed in most weight training circles in this country from what I’ve seen. If people like that can’t take that type of criticism, why are they in a bodybuilding forum?
This last explosion resulted because I stated that the short Russian bodybuilder, Alex, looked strange and that even though he may grow into better symmetry (which he seems to be doing now), I had seen that look in other people who started steroids very early.
This statement resulted in Waylander taking offense because I suppose they felt self conscious as if I was talking about their own personal use of steroids…even though I was referring to someone starting at a very early age like 14-16, not someone over the age of 18.
I stated an opinion and got called out for pages and across many threads. One of the other docs here even agreed with my actual statement but that was in the T-Cell, where Waylander didn’t have the facebook boyz rushing behind him so he wanted those posts erased.
That’s the history of this shit.
I am ready to move on. It looks like everyone else who actually is a true vet of this forum wants that as well.
