One thing I’ve noticed with this forum is I have not seen many impressive physiques. A couple great ones I DID see were tfrench and curqleez, and I’m sure there are more I have not seen.
I’ve seen many people babble on about a lot of scientific topics regarding nutrition and supplements, but very few physiques; at least from what I’ve seen so far. On the “Rate my Physique” page, I saw many low scores. I’m wondering what the people that rate them look like.
Which members have the most impressive physiques on this forum? Are there any NPC nationals competitors on this forum? Any IFBB Pro’s? With all the wealth of information I see people discuss, I hope these are some physiques to back them up.
I don’t want to sound arrogant, I am just curious!

There are people here with some impressive physiques however i can see where your coming from. The ones already mentioned are good and caveman is another one. The problem with not seeing as many good physiques as you would on MD for example is the fact that people dont throw themselves up as there avatars.
Either because there not in good shape/arent confident enough that there in good shape/ privacy reasons/ i dunno? …I think everyone should have pics of themseleves up so you know the guy to be really listening to!! And from looking at your avatar and profile your now on the list of the most impressive physique.
Good post, those are some thoughts that have gone through my mind many times. I do not doubt there are some real monsters on here, and some of the self avatars are really impressive, but many, many people have been on this site forever and have cartoons/chicks as their avatars.
Nothing wrong with this, mind, you (I like to see the movies where the boobies and the ass shake, specifically) but I would have thought that we would see more of the self avatars, especially since this is a pretty elite bb/pl site.
And yes, RMP seems to be a big troll-fest with some serious posters in there.
Fuck RMP. Another thing you have to consider OP is this: T-Nation is home to a lot more than bodybuilders, aspiring or otherwise. We’ve got MMA fighters, wrestlers, powerlifters, hell, a pro-wrestler even posts here!
I have to give props for your mature approach, instead of just lambasting everybody with LOL U DOODZ R WEAK. Lords knows I’ve seen plenty of posts like that on MD/BB.

I couldn’t agree more. Pics should be a requirement. Credibility is important. Especially when taking advice. With all due respect to ‘170 lb guy with hawt abz’ I really don’t care to hear what you have to say when threads are discussing how to gain size and strength.
I wish forums required pics. I think it would solve a lot of problems…

At the same time you should be able to determine what is bad advice and what is good advice (assuming you have some knowledge on exercise and nutrition)

I would like to comment on more than just bodybuilders. I am not a bodybuilder. I am a 35 year old IT professional that is interested in lifting heavy things, eating healthy, learning about nutrition and ways to best deal with my injuries/ailments.
Lifting has helped me with the pain management of neck injuries/chronic pain and herniated (both eventually ruptured) discs, horribly painful life situations, etc. I visit this site because I am confident in the wealth of information supplied by the very well qualified contributors. I do not concern myself with what other members look like if they do not choose to make their physique public.
If their information/recommendations/suggestions seem sensible and pertain to something I am interesting in then I may choose to give it a shot. If it pans out, great. If not, I am not bothered. I have learned some great tips, recipes, methods, plans and so on from people on this site that I have no clue whatsoever as to what they look like.
No offense to the original poster as I do understand your questioning this. And if this site were solely dedicated to bodybuilding and required some sort of credentials as membership, then I would feel your point to be much more valid. But with this community as it is, it is not a concern to me.
Christopher
P.S. You can see a picture of my beautiful pit bull Bella under my profile.
