I'm Stuck! What To Do?

Im a little on the confused side. Now I want to look good and have alot of muscle yes dont get me wrong.
But im stuck, cause ive read that gain lots of weight and cut it down into muscle eg: im 165 and i push to 200 then cut down to 170 or something like that.

That would work yes i would have more muscle but the problem is my occupation…
I do XMA (tricking) and if i get to heavy ill kill all my moves and lose alot of my height. So now i need help on what to do…

You want advice?
How’s this…

  1. Stop bouncing around
  2. Stop posting pics of yourself bouncing around.
  3. Stop asking stupid questions as a way of drawing attention to yourself

When you’ve stopped all of that - sit down and think about whether you want to be a heavily built lifter, or a skinny gymnast.

If you choose the latter, find another website to post stupid pics of yourself.

Who says you won’t be able to do what you do now?

As long as you keep practising the entire time and don’t do slow training exclusively, you’ll be fine.

lol … I dont know how relevant this all is, but there is a video of some guys doing that stuff on (I think youtube) you just gotta search it. There is a really badass song in the background by a band called Agauna or augono… something odd like that.

Anyhow there is a rather well built older white guy in the video that looks extremely out of place next to all the other skinny dudes, and he is still doing all the cool stuff they are doing. If I find a link I’ll stick it in my post.

sorry here it is… I’m sure you, along with everyone else on the planet has already seen it though.

I don’t really understand your problem tho. It’s not like you are going to become magically jacked over night, so if gaining all the weight starts to hamper your ability to bounce around… why not just cut back and re-evaluate your goals when an actual problem arises?

What is there to be confused about? Train for your goals. If you want to be a bodybuilder train like one, if you want to be a tumbler trian like one.

There is plenty of info on here about performance, no one says you have to be huge.

U.S. gymnast Blaine Wilson is 5’4" and weights 215 lbs. Just an example off the top of my head. I’ve taken gymnastics at college for two years and the best tumblers are the ones with the most muscle mass, men and women. If you keep tricking while you bulk slowly, you shouldn’t lose your touch.

LOL

This chick is a tricker also. Looks like you two have A LOT in common.

Just some irrelevant information…the song is ‘Open your eyes’ by the Guano Apes (a German band)

She has a much better hind end though…

On one hand, she can’t do a 720 kick and then switch to a backflip midair and land on her feet. On the other hand, she’s wearing a thong bikini. Okay, I’d rather look at her, too.

Right on the F-ing money, Duke!

This kid is so friggin skinny that he can gain 20 lbs and still be able to pull of some totally sweet and/or ill moves, but he doesn’t want to hear that. He just wants to hear, “wow u do XMA!! thats X-TREEM! ur so kewl!! LOL!!!”

Plyometric training at your new weight.

go to tricks tutorials.com and look for videos containing Anotine, he is a bodybuilder and a brillient tricker.

I do a lot of static gymnastic work, and weight training/bodybuilding on the side, and I can tell you that try to gain the weight slowly. Maybe like 1 pound a week, while keeping your training going, and it wont do much to your abilities. If you plan to ‘cut’ after that, your tricking will get stronger too.

For inspiraton:
Eugene Sandow could do backflips at 5’9 and 190 pounds…

And if you don’t want negative attention, stop being an attention whore and posting pics like that.

We all know you do “tricking” cuz you make sure you post a pic every chance you get. Like in this thread, you ask about getting bigger, but feel you need this pic, WTF? If you had payed any attention in your previous weekly threads you’d know how to do that by now. It’s obvious you don’t really want to work for it or you’d stop asking dumb ass ?'s and posting pics so you can see yourself, you’d just fucking do it.

I say get some gear, yup that way you don’t have to work as hard and hopefully you’ll be able to “chisle down” to 140 and be real ripped.

I know readn’ and thinkn’ is awefully hard, but give it a try, you just may learn something. If that fails then just fuck off.

Some people strength train as an enhancement to their skills and abilities.

Sounds strange, I know, but realy, I’m not making this up.

Some kind of sport specific blahblahblah…

I don’t know what you guys are talking about, he should just cut more.

Well, lets see…if you add 10 pounds to your weight and 30 to you squat, do you think you’ll be able to jump higher or lower?
