It’s been a while since I read your entire log (i actually read it from beginning to end) but I don’t seem to recall what your goal was. What is the ultimate goal? Or do you just like seeing what the beast is capable of?

Bodybuilding. My upcoming competition is in March. Working towards that now. Ive mentioned that in the Akuma01 Thread, but that thread basically died. No one interested + me not updating them on contest prep =p

That defiantly sounds like a recipe for a dead thread. It’ll be cool to watch you progress all the way up to the show. I’ll be watching and rooting you on.
Chest/calves
Pre-exhaust/warmup- HS incline Press- 15/2plates x3
Decline Bench- 20/135, 15/225, 12/275, 8/315 --DROPSET-- 15/185, 12/135
Incline Db press (did this a bit differently. angled my pinkys up and my thumbs down, also Aimed to bring the dumbbells to a triangular point above earlier in the movement, maximizing the stress on the chest)- 15/50, 12/65, 12/80, 9/100
Flat fly- 12/30, 10/40, 10/50
Incline HS press- 12/2 plates, 8/4plates. Was interrupted here by a guy asking me some questions. Conversation lasted like 5min, and i basically didnt have it in me to continue.
Parallel cable flies- 15/40, 12/60, 10/70
Seated calf- 15/2 plates, 15/3, 15/4, 15/5plates
Standing calf- 15/405, 15/450, 15/495, 12/545(495 +2 25lb plates in my hands), 12/585(495 +2 45lb plates in my hands) --DROPSET-- 12/405, 10/300
Back/bis
Im walking to my car…i start getting angry. I dont know why, i feel energy building…rage burning. Im driving now, criticizing every retarded putz on the road, constantly flipping through radio stations, looking for ANYTHING with some sort of pumping lyrics/tempo. I say fuck it, switch to my Linkin Park CD, and start blaring “Crawling.” I get to the gym, and i feel consumed by ferocity, almost primal. I reach a machine, drop my shit, and Pop my earphones in. Coincidentally, “Indestructible” is the first song to appear on the play list. Radiating energy and strength, i begin barreling through my work, full force:
Wide grip Straight bar Lat Pulldown- 15/100, 12/150, 12/200, 10/250, 8/250+ a 45lb plate stuck onto the stack.
Close grip v bar lat pulldown- 12/120, 12/150, 12/180, 10/220
Corner BB Tbar rows- 12/2 plates, 10/3plates, 10/4plates. I loaded 5plates on, and was ready to do these, unfortunately, as soon as i stood up with the weight, i felt/tasted peanut butter finibar coming up my throat. I dropped the weight, took in some water, and waited a few minutes, then attempted again- Same result. So i moved on. Id also like to say that it was about this point where my forest fire of rage and intensity dwindled down to a simple, contained campfire’s worth. Vomiting, or rather nearly doing so, tripped me up a bit. That plus my first couple exercises really blew my stored energy.
DB rows (Done standing, but bent over completely to where my upper body was parallel to the floor. Then, beginning with the weight hanging in front of me, palm facing me, id row while simultaneously laterally rotating, eversion? my wrist so that i ended with my palm facing medially)- 12/70, 12/90, 10/110, 8/130, 8/140
Constant tension curls- 15/25, 12/30, 8/35
1H preacher- 10/30, 10/35, 8/40, 8/45
Cable Concentration curls (done from a high cable, with a pronation of the wrist)- 10/35, 8/50, 8/60, 8/70
Stomped in a colossus of strength, sluggishly meandered out an empty shell of energy. The shirt, which reads awesomesauce, was a fine display of just that, as it was now sopping wet with my sweat. My face, beaded with droplets, now hung, with drooping, deep eyes. I got home, turned the shower on full heat, and stood there, basking in pain that was not the product of a screaming muscle…attempting to wash away the stench of failure.
Always alone, never understood, driven to the brink of insanity, enduring a self inflicted tortuous fatigue, both mentally and physically…even the constant dripping of water can hollow the largest stone…
I know we’ve been waiting for this one. LEGS. Now this time, i was able to keep control of myself, and i wrote everything down as i did it, so it’s going to be a lot more accurate than last time’s.
Pre exhaust GIANT SET- 15/50x3 for each movement.
- 1 legged leg extension
- Hip flexor raises
- Prone leg curl
(not writing Plates out everytime. Will be abbreviated with ‘P’)
Leg press- 20/10Plates, 20/14Plates, 20/18P, 20/18P --DROPSET-- 15/14P, 20/12P, 20/10P
Machine hack Squat- 15/4P, 15/6P, 15/8P
front Squat- 15/95, 12/135, 8/185
Leg extension- 15/150x3. On the 3rd set, after i maxed out my reps, we did forced reps where the weight would be brought up and my partner would PUSH down while i tried to hold the weight extended for several seconds. Did 3 reps like that.
Seated up Leg curl- 20/50, 20/70, 20/90
GIANT SET-
-
Prone leg curl X2 (done as basically a super set, The first set was performed laying down, then immediately after, i would prop myself up on my arms and do another set)- 12/65x3
-
Hip ABDuctors- 20/60, 20/80, 20/100
-
Hip ADDuctors- 20/60, 20/80, 20/100
Post exhaust- Squats- 10/95, 9/135. And yes, i crapped out at 9 reps with 135. It was ridiculous, we were laughing hysterically that we couldnt do our regular warmup weight.
There you have it, a full wreckage of legs. Im tired and hungry now…So…FOOD!

well guys ive went ahead and decided that im going to stop updating the log. It is pointless now. Thank you all for following me up til this point. I appreciate the support. Im not too sure ill be posting much more on this site. cant say i care too much for those who seemingly go out of their way simply to belittle another. Anyway, Best of luck.

In that case, good luck with your training and show, hopefully you’ll post pics when you’re dieted down.
I don’t blame you one bit man. Good luck on all of it. I’ve enjoyed reading about your training and everything you talked about. You got the drive man, now go Kill it.
See you on the other side, brother. Its been fun. Keep it wicked.
Well… several things:
- This log was a great way for me to stay on track
- There is a person or two that actually benefit from this
- Im bored…
So im going to start writing again. This log is going to become a contest prep log (as my other thread has been doomed).
Legs Day-
Began the session with 5-10min of foam rolling.
Then Jumped into my Pre-exhaust work- A giant set of
1. dual leg extensions- 15/65
2. single leg extensions- 10/65
3. Prone leg curl- 15/65
4. Hip raises (done on the leg extension machine)- 10/50
1,2,3,4 x3 sets
Leg press- 20/10plates, 20/14plates, 20/16plates --DROPSET-- 20/12plates, 20/8plates
Hack squats- 20/2plates, 20/4plates, 20/6plates, 20/8plates
Front Squats- 15/95lbs, 12/135lbs, 10/185lbs
Leg extensions- 15/150x3 sets. on the 3rd set, on the final rep, the extension is held at the top while another pushes down on the machine. This is repeated only 3x (as these reps are destroyers).
Leg Curls- 20/70, 20/90, 20/110
GIANT SET-
1-Prone leg curl-10/50x3
2-Propped up prone leg curl (prop yourself up on your elbows and arch your back)-10/50x3
3-Hip Abductor- 20/60, 20/80, 20/100
4-Hip ADDuctor- 20/60, 20/80, 20/100
This thread is a means for me to stay on track, on track for a goal that i will not be deterred from. I allow myself to be too vulnerable. Its absurd really, how one can truly be thrown for a loop by something as simple as a forming of Words into sentences, only to be exponentially powered by the grouping into what seemed like a mob mentality. “Pathetic Akuma…i thought you were stronger than that…” Desire mockingly states. He’s right though…it is pathetic. I couldve handled myself better…You’d have thought that i would’ve learned by now.
Oh well. People live, the smart learn, the strong progress. For those who read this log and like it/learn from it, im back, for both of us. For those who DONT like my writing, youd be retarded for BEING on this page and probably shouldnt announce your presence.
Its in times of weakness that true strength can be depicted. Often, its Darkest just before Dawn…
Sweet man, has your mentor taught you anything interesting about working out other body parts such as chest and back or do you only work out with on on leg day?

So far ive only done Legs with him. But the guy likes me. He was very surprised that i was keeping up with him, every set, every bump, almost every rep. No i didnt use AS much weight as he did, after he maxed out the leg press machine he throw a barbell on top of it and started tossing 45’s on it(which is scary since he is on a keto diet right now), but still i was right on his ass. The only break i took was when i threw up because of the workout, but then i jumped right back in. Says i have a lot of heart, and this is how TRUE bodybuilding is passed down, from mouth to ear. I might work with him again sometime soon, but he was talking about definitely becoming training partners around January, which would be awesome.

X2 on the awesomesauce-ality of training with a vet BBer.
The best progress I’ve ever made has been with a training partner that is either: 1) Way stronger/bigger than me or 2) Someone I respect, who motivates me to train my hardest

Oh without a doubt. Like i said, the guy is simply intense. between sets i was laying on the ground trying to catch my breath. He pushed me hard. Ive attempted to recreate that leg day, but unfortunately going solo (some conflicting schedules amongst Hyena and i) just doesnt allow the spot, the forced repping, quick dropsets, etc.
Akuma, glad to see you back. I was/am looking forward to the outcome of your journey.
You’re a beast brother, take care.
