Damn it. Now I have to come up with something else to say this weekend. Leave it to Stu to screw up a great Friday night.

Did it just suddenly become taboo to discuss IBB further? Or did people just resign themselves to never see it materialize even though it was, for a respectable length of time, the most talked about item on this forum? [/quote]
The second one.
Anyone know what happened? I was hoping to start in Nov to shake things up a bit while I’m deployed to Iraq. I don’t think I could stick to any 12-15 week program with home life, work, and kids. Gotta get the program out to the people, and cut the crazy hype video production.

From what I gathered talking to Christian this weekend in Montreal, you can get a lot of the program from reading his posts in the hth forum and by reading his High Tresholdd muscle building book.

Then you may want to fix that. What type of long term progress do you expect to make if the only time you devote to this is when you are completely removed from your usual environment?
“off and on”.

Guys, the “program” seems to be a condensation of what big lifters have been doing for several years…only explained in detail for those who act like their lives depend on a scientific study before they stop talking and listen. Very little about my overall training is going to change at all even with the supplements. CT seemed to think what I was already doing is working so why change it.

reason #2 not to have kids, what a time suck they are. Not that is an excuse, but really makes life so much easier

I know and I agree…it’s mostly a summery the best activation, potentiation methods for heavy lifting that have been around forever, and how to be adaptive to one’s physiological state. Little has changed on my end too…other than being better concerted and better organised.
The realy new thing for me was the peri-workout protocol.
If you haven’t read Thibs’ High Threshold book, it’s definitely worthwhile. Even when I was in Colorado training and being able to ask questions, I found that a lot of the concepts were things I had previously read in his text.

Just wait until I get in contact with Richard Simmons!! I am going to Dial-A-Meal my way to muscles so fast you all will be sweatin’ to the oldies by Christmas!!!
Speaking of things that have become too taboo to discuss, have you considered whther you’ll enter a contest prof X? I know you’re a busy man, but if so keep us updated. I can’t wait to see the contest pics!

Actually competing is of little concern to me. I would rather be like Vic Richards than worrying about plastic trophies. I lift because I love to do so and I like getting bigger and stronger. While dropping excess body fat is a goal for this coming year, whether I actually jump on a stage or not has yet to be decided.

Haha beat me to it CB. You get people saying bodybuilders are non-functional, and then if you choose not to compete for whatever reason, they criticize you for not making use of your physique. There’s just no pleasing some people…
