Hurt Lower Back

I just got back from good 8 months without any weight training and the first time I went to deadlift I threw my back out on the warm up set. My pelvis was severely tilted to the side and my whole body was crooked for about 2 weeks. I’m feeling better now but not up to doing anything that would require much amount of pressure on my lower back. I’m not looking for a diagnosis, just curious if anyone’s gone through the same thing, how long until you were pulling again and what should I do to keep my sanity until I can train heavy again

Go see a chiro. When I hurt my back, I’ll get all crooked like that too. It’s your body overcompensating for your injury… looks scary, but it’s not permanent.

Put your ego aside and work back into deads SLOWLY. It sucks, I know, because I’m doing the same thing.
