I have recently just started on HRT - 250 Sust every 10 days. I have only had 2 shots thus far and am feeling better already. I’m 38 and am worried about my nuts shrinking down the track.
Interested in hearing from those of you who have been on HRT injections for a period of time and what effects it has had on your nut size.
Would appreciate knowing;
What your dosage is?
What effects on nut size you noticed and when?
More importantly - if you have had a decrease in size what you do to counteract it - if anything?
Any ‘natural’ products that can be used to help maintain size that you are aware - ie tongkat ali?
4 months of gels followed by 2.5 months of 100 mg/weekly test-cyp have left my balls at about 1/2 of their original size. I actually think they were smaller with the gels and recovered a little bit of size with the T-cyp.
I talked to my endo about this last week at my 6 month follow-up visit and he said that if I didn’t want any more children (not at my age!)then we should leave them alone. Otherwise, he’d use a regimen of hcg injections to restore their size and fertility.
It really doesn’t bother me that they’ve shrunk a bit as the main gun is now bigger and harder than it’s been in years.

HGC is used in HRT mainly for this purpose, cocommitantly with maintaining endogenous T. Dosage ranges from 100IU - 500IU twice weekly, usually the day/days before your shot depending on your scheduling of shots/gels.
I have no personal experience with this yet but plan on using it shortly.
No natural products have been known to help maintain testicular size during HRT. Anti-estrogens and dopaminergics have been known to help upon cessation of HRT/cycles though, and there are some supplements that act via this mechanism.

Used to be 5 ng/dl recently switched to 10.
My testicles have definitely gotten a lot smaller, about half the size they used to be, just like the other poster said.
I didnt know I could do anything to counteract it - which pisses me off and frustrates me even more so than I already am cuz my doctor, Dr. Ronald Swerdloff didnt mention a damn thing about this, even tho he is chief of endocrinology at UCLA. His advice: “It’ll pass.” I shit you not, thats what he said. “It’ll pass.”
Havent researched it yet, still trying to get my goddamn libido back.
I didn’t want to mention this in my first post (I could hear the chorus of its all in your head) but I reckon my nuts have shrunk a little after only 2 shots. That or my ball bag has tightened up to fuck.
Anyway, the thought of ending up with raisons down there really freaks me out to be honest.
*Deadlifter, glad to hear your ‘gun’ is bigger LOL! Given that you’ve only been on HRT for 6 months or so - how would you feel about them getting smaller again by half?
Bri - I assume by natural supps you are talking about 6-oxo etc etc. What do you think hi-dose tribulus would do?
DeterminedNate - that is exactly whyI am getting onto it now, or trying to find a ‘natural’ solution. My doc knows fuck all about HCG and prob wont prescribe it. And it has been hard anough finding one that will consider HRT. BTW try Tongkat Ali for libido!
Thanks again guys - would appreciate hearing from anyone else on this very important issue!

Yes, by natural supps I mean all supps (DIM, 6-oxo, I3C, tribulus, eurycoma longfolia, vitex, etc… Even the pharmaceutical anti-estrogens(Arimidex, Clomid, Nolvadex) and dopaminergics(Dostinex, Selegiline) are known to not maintain or improve testicular size while on HRT/cycles. If you’re off HRT they do work, but on is a whole different beast.
I’ve been on HRT for several years with no hcg and my balls are about half size, so I wouldn’t worry about “raisins”. I’ve experimented with natural supplements while on HRT, with very little effect. TRIBEX Gold seemed to have some very minor benefits, probably not worth the price. RED KAT (eurycoma) on the other hand affected the “main gun” as you put it, but not the balls.
Thanks for the information fellas - appreciate it! (I gave you all xtra T-Points whatever the fuck that means!!)
Hats off to you guys that dont give fuck - I feel like a sook now!
I will keep researching this topic - already I have heard about a herb called Damiana which apparently works for some. Not sure if anyone has heard or tried this.
Cheers

Why do you even do this shit in the first place? [/quote]
Because when your natural T-level falls to 1/2 that of the average 90 year old man your quality of life has dropped off to an unacceptable point. I used to understand the saying that men die younger than their wives because they want to, because they’re simply tired and worn out. Not anymore! I’m looking forward to decades of an enjoyable life living it the way I want to.
It would be best if I had a natural normal T-level, but being high-normal with test cyp injections is a good place to be too.

Do you have low T levels?
Are you educated on the physiological/psychological effects of low T levels?
