If you are trying to lose muscle than you are on the wrong website, not the wrong section.
ok ok … yea i guess you are right, anyway it doesn’t matter right now, when a few people appeared and took this topic seriously and said that my legs are not big, and that’s enough for me…

LOL!!
He should grab a few other “general fitness” fuckers and leave as a group. Carpooling saves the environment.

lol, I’m really enjoying this one.
If you want to better your vertical jump then focus on increasing muscle strength, not reducing muscle size.
Lift heavy for low reps (focus on a fast concentric).
Lift light weight for higher reps. (again, do the concentric explosively -Jump Squats).
Add in some plyometric/sprinting work to further develop speed and aid in recovery.
Try some Olympic lifts and their variations to develop neural efficiency and motor control.
What you’re trying to accomplish is to convert some of your slow twitch muscle fibers (good for marathoners) into fast twitch (good for sprinters/jumpers). Your body will adapt to whatever demands you regularly place upon it so let your body know what you want. Even with heavy loads, emphasize speed. The weight may not move fast but if your mind is focusing on moving the load quickly the stimulus will be effective.
Oh… And JUMP a lot!

“HAHA, your legs aren’t atrophied like the rest of us and you can walk without crutches!!! HAHA!!”

LMFAO!
Chicken sprayed all over the place.
As far as I’m concerned this topic can be locked, recycled or sent outer space to some aliens, whatever…

On your rest days you should work on your English.
be sure i will…
I think people call trolling far too often here.
At 17 I had no concept of the micoranatomy or physiology of a muscle.
OP - to a large degree, a bigger muscle is a stronger muscle. I assume you play sports and this is the reason you want to jump higher? Check out the leg development of an elite athlete in that sport. You’ll notice their legs are thicker at their quads and calves than at their knees. Unlike yours ![]()
I think WS4SB would be a great program for you (search for it). A stronger upper body will help you at your sport and can even help you jump higher, as weird as it sounds.
yes i play basketball… i’ll search for it tnx man

Seriously. Why not just give advice if you have it, or move on if you don’t?
