How to Do a Proper Deadlift?

i am new to deadlifts and heard they are very good but when i do them i feel alot of it on my back. i know it works your lower back but shouldnt it work my legs also. also after i do a set i get a tired like pain on my back. i have watched some vids on how to do it properly but i feel im not doing it right could you guys give me some articles, vids or advice that would help me on how to do a proper dead lift and what to feal from the excercise. i realy dont want ot hurt my back.

When you’re first starting out you’ll really feel it in your spinal erectors, take things slow (relatively light weight) until you get accustomed to the exercise and your form is spot-on.

Your legs are MUCH stronger than your back (the weak link), so naturally you’re going to stress those muscles a lot more.

that wekipedia site you gaeve me is very useful for not only learning deadlifts but on how to do other workouts properly i like the info. and pacell i also like the third world squat idea my legs are new to free weights so i might be sitting like this in my seat lol.
